BEWARE OF SCAM!! Had spoken to a lady named melissa and needed shield to come and check out my commercial unit flooding that wont stop. I was away at the time and was not present to be in person to see what shield was doing when they had arrived. Instead of trying to figure out the source of the problem and how to stop the flooding. They had just dropped by left some fans that they had not used and dehumidifiers and called me to had let me know that building intendant was solving the problem. Meanwhile building super hadn't spoken to them at all. My guess is with the emergency hours i had called them in for, they were trying to prolong the hours for a bigger pay day. From before shield had arrived on scene, my flooding in the unit was minimum. It had gotten worse after calling them which they did nothing for. Big mistake calling these guys!

When a serious fire on our floor caused our family to be evacuated for several months, we weren't even allowed to go back in to the suite to reclaim items. I was very concerned with photos showing a thick layer of ash on all our belongings. Shield was hired by our insurance company to remove, clean, store and return all our belongings.Only now that we are back home and have inspected everything can I fully appreciate the very high level of care and attention to detail shown by Sheild.Everything was spotless- in the case of the furniture it was definitely in a better condition than when I last saw it. There was no trace of ash damage or even a hint of ash smell (which was our major worry). Their packing job was incredible, and every box was marked and itemized in detail. Highly recommend- special thanks to Amanda and Melissa, our main points of contact.
