I booked haircuts for my daughter and I and I selected long, thick hair for myself. However when I was there it was clear that the ladies were dying to get out of there as we were the last customers of the day. Both of our haircuts were shoddy and rushed. I suggest not booking thick hairstyle types at the end of the day if the staff doesn’t want to deal with that hair in the appropriate amount of time. The girl that did my daughters hair cut her hair and flew out the door without a basic greeting and asking me what she wanted. The girl that did my hair was very nice and didn’t want to blatantly rush, but I could tell she was.

I was very nervous to get my haircut as it was very damaged due to bleaching and weight loss (messes with your hair). I went to get most of it chopped off and Sam C was very kind and gave me exactly what I wanted. She was super friendly and made me feel much better about my hair. I will definitely be going back!

After being a customer at chatters for 10 years it's safe to say I will never come back to the Dartmouth crossing location. Very unprofessional and dispointing. My last 4-5 appointments within the last 2 years ever since my original stylist left have been bad experiences. The girls are usually in a rush to finish. I've left there with my hair almost dry but still a little bit wet and not styled but I paid full price for that. I've had a girl not know how to do layers. I didn't have a photo to show her because I assumed she would know how to cut layers in someone's hair. Always have photos of how you want your hair to look. And not once, but twice they have canceled my appointment last minute. The last time my appointment was at 8pm so I understand that was late but imagine waiting all day to get your hair trimmed just for them to call and cancel when you're in the parking lot.. I'm still waiting to hear back from the manager regarding this so instead I'll write a review. I feel like I gave this place way to many chances considering the amount of times they messed up

Thank you Sarah for fixing my horrible home Covid hair experiments! My hair colour came out beyond my expectations with all of the damage I had done. I can finally wear my down again. Wonderful result, great price and lovely chat.

The staff here is SO helpful! I recently tried a new product that did not agree with my fine, curly hair. When I returned, the lovely lady at the front called their curly hair expert stylist to the front to chat with me about options. I left with some products and ideas to try along with some super helpful advice on how to get the most out of my hair routine! If I didn't already have an amazing stylist I would be booking with this wonderful and helpful stylist!

Had a fantastic experience today. I took my almost 3 month old daughter in to get her ears pierced and the women who did them is amazing, not only was she not weird out or uncomfortable with me breast feeding my daughter but she explained everything she would be doing plus how the gun worked she made me feel very comfortable with letting her do them. Once she started she was extremely fast at getting both ears done and told me to take my time I didn't feel rushed out the door or it was a easy dollar for her!!I would recommend her to anyone who wants to get their child's ears done.

I’ve searched this city for years trying to find someone who does hair extensions well and my goodness Twyla is extremely awesome. After now doing my extensions for about a year, for my most recent appointment I went in wanting to do something different and she recommended a method I never tried before. With the level of trust I’ve grown with her doing my hair, I agreed, and it’s everything. I would definitely recommend. She exceeds my expectation and also provides great hair care advice.

Excellent experience for my son’s haircut. We had no idea what to do with his long hair. The stylist was very friendly/patient and did an awesome job!

The stylists were very nice and also patient with our 3yr daughter. In the end we were very happy with the cut.

Kayla B is amazing at both colour/highlights and cuts
