I was in the Richmond showroom and this young caucasian man setting in the desk was rude and arrogant when I talked to him I had to leave. Always had good service at Andrew Sheret Broadway location.

Terrible customer service and super unpleasant experience.I am not a contractor and it was my first time going to the Richmond store on November 4, 2022 to get a replacement toilet seat that did not bear a brand name. Because of that, I went to this specialty shop with a hope of getting help on finding the right one. I went to the counter where Jerry, who was on a black framed glasses and masked, manned. He was so pushy to ask me for my phone number and name before I said anything. It was a bit odd to ask customer for this personal information right in the beginning of the interaction. Thinking that they may be looking up on their record to retrieve an account if I had one, I gave him the information he was asking for, even though I told him that it was my first time there. I had a feeling that they would not talk to me if I was not giving them my name and phone number.I then told him what I was looking for and showed him the pictures of the broken toilet seat and the toilet bowl to best describe the product I was looking for. Without seeing the pictures, he kept asking me the brand name of the toilet seat a few times. I told him I didn't have it as it was not showing on the seat itself. Without varing for spending a second looking up on their database to find a match, he only told me he needed the brand name, and he couldn't fo anything without a brand name. As I was not able to provide a brand name to cater for his demand and I did not get the help I was anticipating from a reputable specialty shop，I had to leave the shop with disappointment and grievance.Jerry's attitude during the whole interaction was rude, unfriendly and pushy that was totally unpleasant to me. He offered no assistance or advice and it was kind of like he was brushing customers off.To someone with Andrew Sheret, please delete my name and phone number from your system. I am not and will not be a customer of your shop, you don't have a right to capture my personal information without my consent before I have entered into any transaction with you!

Open to general public but i dont recommend shopping here unless you're a trade or need bulk. If you're just looking for one part, search their website in advance and know exactly what you want. Doesn't seem organized for browsing. Took a number and waited about ~2 min, then decided to go check their show room and come back. Number system doesn't seem to always be followed so I took a second number just in case. I did get helped after about 10 min total wait. While waiting i went to their website and found a part similar to what i needed. An associate offered to show me where specific parts were, but was unable to help me find the specific one I needed, hence why I don't recommend for general public. They aren't hurting for business, so no worries if you shop elsewhere. The store just isn't designed for novice consumer. Recommended for trades with in depth knowledge or bulk buyers.

This is why I give Andrew Sheret 5 stars, it's a wholesaler I can trust.I've chosen A.S. for over 10 years because they demonstrate consistency from the counter sales, sales team, management, and office staff - prices don't change depending on who you talk to, they aren't competing with each other or other branches, rather they are making sure you get what you need as efficiently as possible.A.S. also has shown competency. Getting the right parts for the job saves time and helps get the job done right. Also, since you are dealing with a team, if someone doesn't know the answer you are looking for, they will be able to find out quickly for you.Finally, it's obvious that A.S. cares. While they have developed a great online ordering tool (fast lane portal), saving lots of time, especially through this covid-19 pandemic. But it's obvious they aren't just about getting you in, out, and gone. They care about their clients and the work that we do as well.With over 10 years experience here, I give a deep rooted 5 stars for sure!

It's a great place if you know what you want. Their website is excellent for browsing materials and placing an order. I placed an order in the evening, and in the morning I got a notification that it was ready. Pick-up was pleasant and efficient. I work in another trade, so I am used to working with suppliers. I understand their advantages and limitations. The counter crew was helpful with some specialised advice. Having a trade oriented supplier open to the public is a much appreciated service.

Very nice people of service excellence! I enquired about getting an aerator for my kitchen faucet. Romona immediately ordered it as a warranty item and notified me later when the part arrived. When I went there for the pick up, another staff searched and got me a tool necessary for the aerator replacement. They are true example of an excellent service!
