I was very impressed with Greenbrain! I found this program to be quite complicated, so wanted to speak with someone to better understand how it could help me with getting the grant for my windows. I called a few companies, and was able to connect with an individual named Hussein. He was very patient with me, and really helped simplify the program. I booked my audit for next week and am very excited to get my new windows installed. Thank you!

I wanted to take advantage of the greener homes grant I picked greenbrain because they were on the top of the list and it stated they were a company that services my area. After months and months I was finally contacted and after long consideration I started getting very frequent calls from the company I almost didn’t go through with the process because of how often they were calling and usually while I was working. Anyways I finally agreed to the audit which was $600 plus a $50 travel fee and was told someone would be in contact the following week to book my appointment…….a few weeks went by and I called back since they already had my money. An appointment was scheduled for this week I just was informed that my appointment is cancelled and they apologize they are not servicing my area. I am beyond annoyed and cannot believe how unprofessional to take someone’s money for well over a month and then decide you’re not servicing the area I thought that’s why I had to pay a travel fee. It’s not like I just informed them of my location. Definitely will not recommend. And the agent on the phone said I will get a refund including my travel fee…..no kidding no service why would I pay for travel. I’ll look for a much more professional company moving forward.

I want to say a big thank you to Byron for getting me an appointment so quickly. My AC died, and I was getting a new heat pump installed in a week. I called a few companies and many were booking a month or more out. However, Byron got me booked in for an appointment the next day, allowing me to get a $6500 rebate back. My net cost on my heat pump was a little less than $100 after the rebate I got back - which is unbelievable! I’m super happy, and if it wasn’t for him I would have missed out on a lot of money. Thank you!!!

Originally contacted them by email, with a response and questions answered within a few hours. Another company that was emailed did not respond for two weeks, several days after Greenbrain had already completed the audit. Excellent service, and the young technician was helpful, patient, thorough and an all round professional. Customer focused and the price was good too! Update, got the emailed results on Sunday 5 days after the audit on Tuesday! Thanks William!

I had Imraan over to install the thermostat from Greenbrain. The entire process was very quick and stress free, he even gave me a heads up 15 mins before coming. He was very kind and experienced, and explained the system patiently. He is very knowledgeable and helped answer questions and give advice about other problems with the furnace. Very happy with the service that was provided and would highly recommend!

My experience is Sofia specific, she was my first contact to access the Government of Canada's Greener Homes Grant Program. I had questions for the process of accessing the program and on how and when to schedule an energy audit. As the conversation passed, each question and concern that I brought forward was answered with thorough knowledge of the program including the specifics of the project that I would like to pursue. Her confident spirit was so readily apparent that I still feel uplifted. I have absolutely no concerns about the role of GREENBRAIN in facilitating this program and I believe that there is significant value for any costs for their services. Thank you, Bernie

The two (pre & post) auditors that I had the pleasure to do with were absolutely first class. From the admin/general inquiry side, I could not have asked for any better person than Sofia on the phone. Very thorough, pleasant and responsive to the requests/questions that I have.

Booked a home energy audit. Was able to get an appointment quickly. Promised the report in 2 weeks. It has now been 3 weeks. I have emailed and called. No option to speak to someone so had to leave a message. I keep getting calls back but no message so I have no idea what is going on. Frustrating, as would like to have the report in hand before I start booking quotes and upgrades.

I called Greenbrain with a lot of questions I had about the Greener Homes Program as I was looking to get new windows installed and just wanted to be 100% sure I understood everything. The person I spoke with was super helpful and patient with me. Even when he didn't know one of the answers, he told me he would look into it and get back to me. I didn't think he would, but 15 minutes later he called me back to provide an answer after checking with his manager. Really great service, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend them!

My auditor Rahul was great! He came to my house to complete an energy audit and did a thorough inspection both inside and outside of my house, and in my attic. At the end, he spent 15 minutes showing me all the spots in my house that were drafty and needed to be sealed. He was very patient and knowledgeable, and I was very pleased to get a little over $4500 back from the federal government for replacing some of my windows. Highly recommend!
