We contacted Delta-q about a golf cart charger that they manufactured that caught on fire in our home putting our entire family and home at risk of burning down! Once contacted they informed us to send the charger to them so they could inspect it. We had to pay international shipping. They then sent an email stating they would reimburse us for having to buy another one from one of their dealers due to it having an actual defect and them not having good relationships with their dealers so we could just pick one up as a replacement. We sent them the receipt from their dealer and they never sent the reimbursement and also sent the burned unit back. We will now move forward with litigation as we gave them an opportunity to rectify this issue for over 6 weeks now as they will not answer a phone or email since saying they would reimburse us and we will now be seeking damages as well as manufacturing a defective product that would have burned our house down had we not been home to throw the charger outside!
