Excellent fare, drinks, and atmosphere. The servers were attentive and had superb service. A fantastic spot hidden in a corner; highly recommended if you are in the area

A staple of Montreal dining! Great vibes (though place is a bit dark), friendly staff, curated menu with good food, drinks, and dessert options. Fries, rigatoni à la romanoff, and stuffed donut of the moment are to die for (but the rigatoni is surprisingly better when ordered as take out rather than dine in). Otherwise, quite difficult to access by public transit, but definitely worth it!

Five of us had dinner on Sat, Apr 8th at McKiernan Rotisserie; we shared a number of dishes.Appetizers: Mushroom toast special was outstanding...carrots & burrata tasty. Schnitzel, crab pasta and rappini pasta all were tasty entrees. Desserts: glazed donut and pecan pie were amazing; blueberry cheesecake also looked like it was enjoyed.While the restaurant was lovely & the service great, it unfortunately was too noisy for us to easily carry on a conversation.

Beautifully decorated, nice and cozy ambience. The food was okay, nothing special. The mushroom focaccia was very salty. Their specialty rotisserie is juicy but not to my taste (it had a strong wine flavour). The food is 3 starts for me, however the service was impeccable- hence the 4 stars.

The food was excellent! The atmosphere and design were amazing, and the staff was friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers, and they were delicious. The beer selection was great as well. However, when it came to desserts, they didn't seem appealing enough, so we decided not to order any.

Excellent brunch menu! Lovely vibe, perfect for couples and young families! Service was impeccable, dishes were delicious. We even bought some donuts for takeout.

The few times I came here in the past we would order 2-3 dishes to share and that was that. The food felt homey but slightly elevated for what it was. This time, we were a group of 7 people and we decided to order many different dishes to share. This was, by far, the best experience we've had at McKiernan up to date! Being able to taste a variety of different foods made the meal that much more enjoyable. The heavy usage of butter and olive oil makes it difficult to order just one plate and eat just that all alone to yourself. That is the reason why I highly suggest going in a gang and sharing a bunch of different things. Everything was on point and oh so savoury.

Amazing place! It’s a hidden restaurant close to Lachine channel, with delicious food, good variety of beers and wine and a impeccable service! I definitely will come here more often

I had a very internal debate on how to rate this. The restaurant was very well kept clean and great decor. The weight staff was very kind and attentive especially our waiter. Not to mention the schnitzel burger and potatoes were great. But we did have a issue which ultimately brings it down to a 2 star. I went with a few people we ordered the schnitzel with eggs and asked them to be well done. We got them and they weren't so we asked to either get a new plate or just cook them more. To our surprise the waiter came out and said the chef is not doing any substitutions" so he couldn't do anything but give the plate for free. Sounds to me that the chef is to prideful which is a pathetic way to be for food that wasn't cooked to the way a customer would like. Might come back but in reality if they can't re-cook an egg I'd rather not know what else is going on. Thanks to the waiter for great service I'd personally hate to deal with kitchen staff that's so embarrassing. Good luck in the future."

Bright and spacious space serving good food for large groups. We shared 6-7 dishes, including a whole chicken, for a group of 6 and that was the right amount of food. We especially enjoyed the brussel sprouts, the special pasta of the day and the shrimp toast as well. The staff was very friendly. Would recommend this spot for any large gathering!
