I bought the Groupon for laser hair removal as a gift. Regretfully, it turned out to be a terrible gift. I have been informed that after many attempts to get the service fulfilled, it’s been next to impossible to do so. It’s extremely difficult to get a hold of anyone to make an appointment, which has made it ineffective and time consuming. Subsequently, the bit of service that was received, unfortunately produced very poor results due to such long periods between appointments (which were much longer than the recommended 6 to 8 weeks). Therefore, I would NOT recommend purchasing this promotion.Update on my first review:The person I gave the groupon gift to told me that she no longer can use it, as it’s been so long between being able to get appointments, that the laser would no longer be effective.Thus the purchase was a total waste of money, time and effort. This is the business’s way of getting your money more easily, but they do not service what they sell.Save your money … go elsewhere even if it costs a bit more.

This place is great. Carla really cares about her customers and wants to make sure they are getting what they asked for. I've been coming for laser hair removal, I'm biracial (black/white) so have darker skin and the machine she has works for all skin types. I have sensitive skin and talked to her about my pain tolerance and she made adjustments and was very nice and sweet! Best part the coupons I purchased from Groupon a long time ago never expire! Thank you Blu Ivy!

I’ll keep doing this every 8 months or so! I want to be part of inventory at this place, not just because Lina, Carla and Maria are masters of their profession and so passionate about what they do but also how they care about their customers and make them feel like they are home. I am so happy to know them and I wish them all the best and lots of success! Who cares about their skin and is seeking advice this is perfect place...so much knowledge! love this place ! they are super accommodating, knowledgable, honest and quick ! I had no idea what I was walking into with the laser hair removal but they guided me to a numbing cream that made it nearly painless ! my first treatment has had amazing results ! being Italian my only regret is that I hadn't done it sooner. I will definitely be trying some of the other services they offer ! 1000% check them out !

Lina is a master at manicures and pedicures. Facials are results-oriented and wonderful. Laser hair removal is the best. No cutting corners by Carla. Excellent results.

Best facial in town!! No one knows skin care better than Carla at Blu Ivy. I’ve been a loyal client for years and my skin has never looked better. The girls here have always gone above and beyond for me in all of my treatments and I can’t thank them enough!

The ONLY place I've ever been to and received a proper pedicure. Lina is also very educated and helpful with any skin/ health questions I have had. Carla is very welcoming and makes you feel comfortable. I hate the intimidating feeling you get going into a new salon/spa for the first time... you won't get this here. Feels like being at home. Five stars for sure.

I had 11 sessions of underarm and 5 upper legs and bikini line sessions laser hair removal, and I feel like I haven't been there at all, I was told that unfortunately " it can happen that the hair will still grow

Lina gives the best manicure and pedicure in town! She is meticulous and efficient. She makes every visit a wonderful and even fun experience . The spa is a very relaxed and unpretentious environment . Carla is a wealth of knowledge and one of the kindest people I've ever met. She goes above and beyond to make all her clients feel comfortable and confident!
