The selection of vintage stereo equipment and speakers was superb and I am super happy with the Sansui receiver I purchased from this shop. I have it running a couple of brand new towers and the sound quality and power is impressive. The co-owner who helped me out couldn't have been more knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend this business.

I just got my circa 1980s Denon integrated stereo receiver serviced at Q-E and I'm very pleased with the service and results. My mostly dead right channel is fully restored and sounds great. The service time took two days - well within the estimate. The staff was friendly and entertained my questions regarding the repair as well as those about an interesting tube amp they had on display. Regarding the $25 deposit - this essentially covers their time for diagnosis. I find this totally reasonable - other repair shops (e.g. Innovative Audio) do the same. My one criticism is that my initial email went unanswered - you're better off to contact them directly. I just walked in off the street and arranged for the repair.

Dropped off a Sansui integrated for repair. 25 bucks upfront. They never called back. I called 3 weeks later: probably too expensive to fix but we have to get a closer look". Months later I haven't heard back. So they basically too my 25 bucks and my amp. STAY AWAY"

Always the best components that can be purchased singly or in bulk. Cool place to browse, always customers in store, goes to show you the popularity of this niche store. Recommend to all who repair electronics or just need quality electronic components or tools.

Took headphones to be repaired, just a frayed end but the sound was still crisp and clear and distinct on my high quality headphones. Get them back and the audio levels left and right are entirely off and everything sounds muffled and muted. The spirit of music feels numb and devoid of life from these headphones now, whereas before it was a magical gateway to be one with the heart of music.At least in its previous state I could access the crispest audio I've heard from any audio player before, now even that indirect gift has been cauterized, destroyed and forsaken to nothing but the yawning maw of the cold void's consumption of warm yet fading memories.An entire waste of $80 and waste of trust in professionals." I brought our old seized up VCR in for service in November. I wanted it back quickly for a special occasion that involved a video on cassette. I was so impressed with not only the job but with the speed as well, as they had it back within a few days. I've read some of the critical reviews and can say that my experience was pleasant and professional. The response was great and the cost was reasonable. If we need our electronics serviced in the future, Q-Electronic will be our first stop.

Brought my Marantz receiver in to get tuned up because it was making crackling noises and only playing out of one speaker. When we picked it up they said it was in pretty good shape for its age. They charged us over $125 and within 4 months it was having the exact same issues. Will not go back.
