Portage Industrial Exhibition Campground

Great for kids, water park beside camp. Stopped there because campground surrounded by water. Great for a dog, right.....wrong... wasn’t one spot around water that wasn’t inches deep with goose poop

The only downside was the amount of mosquitoes. But lovely, clean, quiet. COVID measures were in place and followed. Lots to do and see around the island. Will definitely go back.

This place is good to host events or when the Portage Ex comes to town and has a neat market of things to buy.

Fabulous place to go

Loved the place. The washroom is clean, the camp sight is easy to find and office staff is friendly and helpful.

Loved it. Very clean campground. A lot of green space. Bonus: it’s beside a farm where you can walk over and buy fresh veggies/jams. My little ones loved it!!

The location is amazing right on the side of the water. You just throw your tent wherever on the huge fields. Some picnic tables are around. Wi-Fi is ok but you have to be very close to the office. Showers : 1$/3min which prevents the 5-star grade.

Cold and wet day when we camped but would have taken advantage of the river walk if it the weather was better.

must be the best kept secret in Manitoba for RV travelers, its on a public land . town owned, hydro, water, no sewage but a dump station. its got a great clean area next to a golf course Portage Golf Club and a river that had Pelicans swimming by in great numbers. Located next to a farm which had a store that offered fresh fruits and vegetables, and jams and sauces and ice cream. Not far about 10 minutes or so walk is a really big pulic swimming pool/water park the Stride Place-Splash Island adn the Island Park and Family Playground. There is also a park with a very nice very long paved walking path though the park, ..nice quiet clean and very reasonable 30 dollars a night, would stay there again for sure . about 40 spots so get there early.
