Calforex Currency Exchange - Victoria

Terrible customer service. Will not even match other companies in town. Called all places and this was the highest and they won't match rates. Save yourself the trouble and pre-order at you local bank to save big dollars. I was so shocked how much higher they are. Never will go back or do business with them again.

Helpful, cheerful, and professional. They responded quickly to my query and were able to provide exactly what I required.

I was highly disappointed in my experience with this business. I should have done better due diligence. It wasn't until after the transaction was processed, I noticed they charge a flat fee of $4.50 per trx. Could they not tell thier customers before processing the transaction instead of relying on them to read the tiny sign? I'd think that'd be good customer service. So everyone, keep in mind, while it appears that thier f/x rate is slightly better than other options in Victoria, the fee completely negates a decent rate so I ended up paying significantly more than I would have if I used the Royal Bank for example. Unfortunately, Victoria in general does not have enough good f/x options. This place is a big disappointment and I will never be going back.

I tried to exchange some HKD but they arbitrarily decided to not accept the $20 bills in particular because they couldn't find it in their decrepit book. They made up something about it not being in circulation but all of it was purchased at the same time and worked just fine in HK

Great customer service every time I've been here - prompt, friendly, professional, conscientious. Very low service fee. Very fast turnaround from the time I put in my currency request to the time my cash is available. This place is better than a bank, in my opinion.

I always have excellent service at this branch. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly, and rates are always some of the lowest available. As someone who works within the tourism industry, I always recommend this location over anywhere else within the area. :)

When I traveled to Europe 3 weeks ago, I called Calforex in order to get a quote on exchanging Euros for my trip. I wasn't very familiar with currency exchange, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. They didn't need any notice and I was able to just walk in and pick up my currency. I also found that compared to the bank they were much cheaper plus I was able to choose the bills I wanted.I am very happy with the service I received and would definitely recommend them!

What a great service and friendly staff. The manager, Christine, helped me step by step how to get a bank draft from my bank, etc. They have the best rates in town. It was great to do business with them. I will never go anywhere else again and will tell all my friends about their quick and efficient service. Thanks !

Poor service. Was told I could return extra foreign currency for no additional charge. When I attempted to do so I was told I would be charged unless I produced the flimsy receipt I got at the original transaction. The fact that I needed to keep the receipt was not mentioned at the original transaction! Will never use (or recommend) this place again.

Jenny and her staff are all very helpful, efficient and friendly. I called daily to check the rate of the Euro and Jenny never seemed bothered about my constant calling :)Calforex rate is better than the bank rate and I plan to continue to use their services.I did not encounter a line up at any of the times I was there. I highly recommend everyone trying them out and see for yourself.
