Wee Watch Licensed Home Child Care Kanata/Hunt Club

I’ve been with my provider long before she became affiliated with weewatch, so I already knew the excellent care she provides.The agency however, is not that great. As another reviewer has mentioned- the director, Abby Uppal, is extremely rude, lacks proper communication skills and certainly has a knack for making you feel like a number and not a client. I’m glad my child will not be needing care for much longer.

We have been working with Abby and her wonderful team since 2013. Extremely professional and caring staff. Abby does a great job supporting her team and the parents at the same time, the wonderful team at the office are very supportive, especially Amy who supports us during our monthly visits. Wee Watch is a is a great organization.

As a new member/provider of the Weewatch family I’m more then happy with the exceptional care that my home visitor Amy has provided myself and children in care! I’m very pleased with their outstanding support through their workshops and also their monthly programming! The Wee Watch agency provides support for both providers and parents! From experience I feel both director Abby and Amy have the knowledge and expertise to be leaders in an amazing agency!Thank you Wee Watch for all the support!

I am extremely disappointed with WeeWatch. My baby girl was rejected after only two weeks of attendance because she cried too much. As a parent, I understand that children may experience separation anxiety when starting daycare, and I expected the provider to handle such situations professionally. However, I was repeatedly asked to pick up my daughter at lunchtime every day for two weeks in a row, and then informed by the director that my daughter was rejected without any opportunity to discuss a solution or address concerns. This left me with no choice but to take time off from work and keep my daughter at home.I believe that there should be a rule obligating providers to consult with parents before returning children, especially when the child has done nothing wrong.This experience has caused me a great deal of inconvenience and stress. I feel that my child was unfairly discriminated against and that the rejection was unjust. I would not recommend WeeWatch to any parents seeking reliable daycare services.

As a provider with Wee Watch I can attest to the fact that the staff of Wee Watch is comprised of both wonderful and professional people who deeply care for both providers and their families. They go above and beyond to provide exceptional support to their providers, so that we are equipped to provide the best care possible for the children in our homes. I have been working Weewatch almost 4 years. Abby is very nice person. She is very caring to all of our providers. I remembered when COVID time she called every provider and helped us .she is very hardworking person I have seen in my life , she supports us every time . Amy she is my home visitor, she is very wonderful home visitor .She comes to visit my home every month and my kiddos love her so much.she encourages me all the time.I am happy that I am working with wee Watch.

I am very thankful to WeeWatch for the love and care they showed my son. While my son was under the care of WeeWatch, we had a great relationship with his provider, Noreen, and the director, Abby. Abby was always friendly and welcoming. Thank you Abby for always offering a safe, warm, fun and educational place for my son to go to everyday!

I am with wee watch, one of their providers! I have to just put this out there from my experience. My advisor is Amy and she is the kindest person I have ever met. She is so supportive and when she comes for her monthly visits she always helps me with the kiddos. When she came this month I was getting the kiddos ready to go outside and she was there helping the kids aswell and helping me encourage the children to put their boots on etc. She even helped with my son. She will come where you are even if we are not home and are at a park. She will come to the park and visit there. when she comes and the playroom etc is a mess she never judges you, she is just a wonderful human. She noticed one day that I didn't have snow pants and she went and got me snow pants and great mitts even a spare coat. That's not even part of their job so if that doesn't explain how much of a great human she is I don't know what will! Abby is the director and I get to see her at all the workshops that wee watch provides! and there are a lot each year. I can tell Abby is just such a kind and caring person. She gave rewards out at one of group outings and she made sure all the providers got a reward. Since my daycare is close to the wee watch building I walked over with my daycare group and all the staff including Amy and Abby were there and they were all over joyed to see my little ones. They played with them and gave them stickers, the kids were soo happy to get all that attention. It was awesome!

In view of some recent negative reviews, I want to personally assure parents that Wee Watch Kanata/ Huntclub is a great Agency to deal with. I have been with them for nearly 2 decades and reviews about me will vouch for my credibility.Abby and the Team work hard and run a great network for Wee Watch Providers and Parents. They offer full support, info and assistance at all times to both Parents and Providers in a very polite and professinal manner. Never had an issue.A positive and nurturing daycare environment is not possible without a strong and supportive Team....for both Parents and Providers.I am a proud member of Abby's Team at Wee Watch and could not ask for a better and supportive work environment.Negative reviews should not deter anyone from experiencing the care offered, especially, by Abby and her Team here at Wee Watch.
