The Sweet Onion Bistro
From the moment we sat down on the patio out front, we were treated to attentive friendly service and live music.We started off with Saganaki, which was delicious. We then enjoyed saganaki grilled cheese, the classic burger, and their gyro in a pita.As I enjoyed my meal, I realized that a lot of the patrons were making an evening out of their visit, and for good reason. Oh , you can also bring your dog along!

Came in with a friend for a late night dinner and drink back during the holidays. Loved the cozy vibe going on, the patio was so beautiful with the ambiance lighting. I had a lovely time and the food was great. Felt so homey and our server was so kind. Thank you!

The Sweet Onion Bistro
Perfect for patio season. We enjoyed our lunch and they have great Greek inspired plates with some other Canadian favourites. The kitchen couldn't keep up with the lunch rush which I found odd, but maybe it was a one off. Food was great though.

The Sweet Onion Bistro
First time trying this restaurant and already looking forward to the next visit. I had checked out the menu before our visit so I knew what to expect. We have travelled to Greece on quite a few occasions and love Greek cuisine.Our server was delightful! Very warm and friendly. We split the Saganaki as our starter. As promised, the cheese was flamed table side - very impressive! I had the chicken Souvlaki. It was delicious! My husband had the Mediterranean chicken breast and enjoyed every bite. We finished our meal with a very tasty baklava. We were very impressed with the excellent service, authentic Greek food and lovely ambiance. A wonderful evening!

My husband and I went to The Sweet Onion this past week and had a great experience.Our server, Nikki, was extremely friendly and attentive. We asked her for recommendations on all of the food we ordered as it was our first time going, and she nailed every recommendation.We got the Garlic and Brie appetizer to share which was delicious and very flavourful.My husband got the Sweet Onion burger and Greek Fries and I got the veggie pasta and added eggplant Parmesan slices. It was all well portioned and tasty.The atmosphere was cozy and lighting wasn't too bright, and we sat right by the fireplace which was nice on a cold, rainy night.We will be back for sure!

It was a great evening. Did not feel rushed at all. Staff were awesome.I will definitely go back and tell others.Roasted garlic appie was amazing as was the stuffed chicken breast dinner.

The Sweet Onion Bistro
The food was very good, though a little overpriced. Our server was helpful, polite and very upbeat. The enjoyment of being on the patio was underwhelming. I did not like the expanded metal table we ate at. It cannot be cleaned well. We would go again if we were with friends who may want to try the restaurant, for the first time.

A nice restaurant in the heart of Wortley Village. I went on Greek night. Live music, a beautiful atmosphere and a nice menu to choose from. A fair selection of gluten free food on the menu.Staff were pleasant and answered any questions that I had.Worth a visit.#localguides

The Sweet Onion Bistro
The salmon is a little dry and i’m not sure if it was a dill puree on top but the puree was flavorful. Carved beef was drenched in gravy something the modern culinary don’t do anymore. The prices are a bit high for these ordinary dishes. Wheat beer on tap was good. The kitchen tries andI could see the effort but if you like to be competitive with Toronto(where I’m from) or NYC restaurants you gotta up your game in the kitchen. But then again, its a family restaurant in the quiet town of Wortley neighborhood in London ON so..game changer for me was the fact that they allow dogs in their patio and the customer service is a 10/10 and yes you should eat here.
