Calgary Farmers' Market West

Lots to see at this farmers market! I’ll start by saying that you need to be very patient getting in and out of the parking area, as there are a lot of people constantly coming and going, which makes for the lot being a little treacherous at times.It’s an extremely busy market space, which I suspect has something to do with the fact that there are no other farmers markets anywhere in the vicinity. It serves a big chunk of Calgary and everyone seems excited to visit.There is some really great cheese and meat, shops, many options for fresh vegetables, which you can find on the perimeter of this building, there’s coffee, ice cream, jewelry, rocks, pet gear, alcohol/spirits, and even some clothing places.

This indoor farmers' market provides a cool shopping and culinary experience.Such unique food, dessert and beverage options if you are here for lunch or dinner.Great one of a kind shops as well, one of my favorite shops is Beeland Market.

The enclosed Calgary Farmers' Market at this location is sizable; however, it is not as huge as the one at Waterloo, Ontario. It; nevertheless, is much better looking, clean, and very well organized than Toronto's at Downsview.There are lots of vendors selling almost all kinds of merchandise one may think of in addition to farmers with a variety of organic fruits and vegetables grown in their fields.All the shopping area is alluring with beautiful decor, lighting, and landscaping. I got the feeling I was in a high-end shopping complex and not in a crammed, chaotic flea market.The food court was the most prominent and enticing part of the market with varieties of cuisines from various cultures and countries and cozy sitting arrangements.The prepossessing market was pristine clean, and washrooms were hygienic and very well maintained. In addition, there was a water fountain to quench thirst and fill bottles with cold water.The parking area was enormous, so visitors can, certainly, get a place to park their vehicles for free, anytime of the day.All in all, I had a very pleasant experience, and would love to visit it again.

Newly built and more airy farmers market, although the size does not feel much bigger than before.A lot of the items here are high priced, as in they are set at restaurant prices for food-court style food and tips are still asked for. Best value is the bubble tea shop Zen and the Turkish stall which is an extension of Anatolia’s, a Turkish restaurant located at Olympic Plaza downtown.Was also looking to try some poutine at Flavours of Quebec, however it didn’t look like they had it in the menu and didn’t see any equipment for cooking poutine (deep fryer etc.).Still lots of places to be tried so will update this review again next time.

Places to lock your bike, water bottle refilling station, public washrooms, high high ceilings with lots of air, plus lovely food vendors and stalls! Loved this place. Also, there’re bike paths straight there!

Super fresh products. The vendors place thoughtful effort into their displays, are friendly and attentive. We were impressed with the child who was performing classical music on his violin! This place is impressive, treats the senses with freshness and an earthy feel. We will definitely be back!

I really enjoy visiting this location of the farmer's market. I find the south market to be much more cramped. The parking situation here is usually much better too.There are plenty of vendors to visit, most of them are food related. If you live in the north west be sure to make a visit!

A new Farmer’s Market at NW of Calgary. Interior is nicely designed and organised. There are lots of beautiful shops including vegetables, fruits, meat, local drinks, cakes & pie, gift, indoor plants etc. The food court is in the center of the space with lot of seatings. Good for visit and shop…!

I live close to the south, Calgary Farmers Market so we go there quite often. Today my wife and I decided to try out the Northwest location. We were very impressed with this location. The market is very open and spacious. As well, it's very clean inside. It has a large play area for the kids and so many unique food establishments. We will definitely be returning.

Loved it, beautiful venue, great vendors, lots of fantastic local finds!! Best time to go is first thing in the morning, coffee is on, everything is freshly stocked and it's quiet!!
