Bear Creek Cabins

We had such an amazing experience at Bear Creek Cabins! The cabins were super cute, we got to experience a cow safari, meet some baby goats and pigs, and go on a trail ride. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We can’t wait to go back!

My husband had an excellent long term stay in the Papa Bear cabin while he was away for work. Al was very easy to deal with and very accommodating. He felt right at home staying in the country. The cabin had everything that he needed and it was very clean. He's already been back and will definitely be staying again if working close to there. Highly recommend any of their cabins.

We stayed in the Mustang cabin, very clean and cozy. The service from Allan and his team was as if we were at a western style 5 star resort. Anything we needed they had. Definitely recommend checking out the on-site working ranch. Romantic for two or fun for the whole family. Some of the fire pits are tucked away in nice secluded spots, some are in the open and all are nice and good working shape.

Loved our weekend escape to Bear Creek Cabins! What a fun find I happened upon! We will definitely be back. Our daughter loved the little town to explore, the friendly dog we came upon as well as watching the horses gallop through the field and listening to the goats as they played and munch their lunch. The location is really close to twin lake and we were able to easily travel there for a day on the lake. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We loved the cozy cabin. It was clean and a great size for a family.

My daughter and I had a fantastic time. The cabin we rented is the Wolf Cabin and it is beautiful and cozy. Each cabin has its own outdoor area with a bbq, fire pits, and picnic table. The hosts, Ana and Alan, are very friendly and hospitable. They offer different experiences on their ranch as well. My daughter and I went for a trailride with Ana around her beautiful property and visited with their goats who had just recently had babies. It was a perfect getaway, just 1.5 hours outside of Edmonton. I highly recommend this host. We went in February and it was great and with all the beautiful lakes in the area, I can imagine it's even more spectacular a getaway in the summer months.

Overall great experience at Bear Creek cabins! It is located close to Edmonton, only 1 hour and 20 minutes drive south towards Red Deer. It is very calm and beautiful place, so quiet and peaceful. You can take short walks to the Village and pond nearby. I would also highly recommend horse riding for adults or kids, me and my wife really enjoyed it. Owners Allan and Asa are very kind and respectful, and will make sure you enjoy your stay. We will definitely be back there in winter.

I don't know where to begin on this place. Remote, calm, quiet and the owners were so inviting and accommodating. We got stuck in the mud and they came with a tractor and helped pull us out. We stayed in the sheep cabin and it was so cute. Definitely heading back next time I need a getaway.

Spent a few nights at Bear Creek Cabins with the wife what can I say peace and quiet. Allan and Asa are great hosts and very accommodating anything you need they are a phone call away. Great people we will be back for sure.

Beautiful and quiet place to spend the weekend away from home with family. Spacious and I believe they have private fire pits at every cabin. Everyone was very kind and helpful. “Town” was my daughters favorite place to visit aside from the pony ride & goat visit we decided to do. I DID recommend these cottages to friends and family. Thanks so much for allowing us come share your little piece of paradise.

Bear Creek Cabins was like the north pole. It’s like the Christmas village I never knew existed! It was magical to bring my family there for a quiet country Christmas experience. Allan and Asa were incredible – they did everything to make us comfortable and cozy. They brought us extra blankets, and extra coffee, started campfires in our fire pits so I didn’t need to fret about it, and they added to the ‘magic of Christmas’! They were terrific, and we will be back next year!
