La Diperie Markham

Very expensive for mediocre icecream. The toppings were plenty but the vanilla icecream as the base was worse than mcdonald’s. Also, hugely overpriced for what it is. It had a lot of business probably cuz it’s so close to cineplex.

Heard about this place from some of my influencer friends on Instagram & gave them a try since I was in the area. I bought 6 of their regular donuts. Looks great but as soon as I took my first bite, I was hugely disappointed. These should not be called donuts. The dough was dense & dry... was like eating dry bread... no no no thank you. Won't be going back.

Ice cream quality is mediocre at best. It’s just basic soft service with some interesting toppings. The waffles are too rich and I feel it’s not well balanced. Good service tho and friendly staff.

So many choices! It was nice. Very refreshing. Key Lime pie was nice and not over powering.

Whenever I’m in downtown Markham I HAVE to stop by La Diperie for a soft serve. It’s so yummy! Ice cream actually tastes like cream and the chocolate actually tastes like chocolate. Top it off with chopped almonds and you are literally in heaven. So good - now I’m craving another one!

Got the cheesecake and le rocher - both were really yummy!!! Loved that the donuts were so tiny. Interesting location with it being with South St Burger, but burgers & ice cream are a pretty good combo if you ask me :) Staff was also really nice and welcoming

My daughter and I were excited to try this place; however, it was a disappointing experience. My daughter got the single scoop cookie dough + nerds on ice cream ($5-6?!) it was so small and hollow inside… it tasted like mint too… soft serve needed more Oreo. Pretty stingy & no napkin for one of the cone.

La Diperie opened up several months ago in Downtown Markham, in a space shared by South Street Burger. Montreal-based La Diperie has been in the ice cream and desserts business since 2014 and is best known for their soft serve ice cream dipped in saucy glazes and covered with toppings. They also sell mini donuts, cake slices (including Cheesecake Factory cheesecake slices), sundaes, hard scoop ice cream, and milkshakes.The staff were friendly and helpful. They patiently answered the questions of my family members. We ordered the Coffee Crisp milkshake which was thick and rich, with a noticeable chocolate and coffee flavour. It was slightly sweet for my palate. My family enjoyed Cheesecake Factory mango cheesecake slices dipped in milk chocolate and pistachio glazes respectively.Prices are steeper than say Dairy Queen but the products offered here are on a premium level. There was less impact on my wallet given we were able to use coupons we received in the mail. Definitely a great place to grab dessert in Downtown Markham!

So many great selections and desserts are always freshly made. Thank you so much for bringing this chain to Markham!

The vanilla soft serve isn't too bad, but can't tell if it's really ice cream or a frozen dessert similar to other larger chains with little or no cream in the ice cream.Currently, three company's website has no nutritional information or ingredients, so difficult to say.The Rocher - large $8Lots of chocolate and nuts. It's pretty good for the price.
