I am not sure why there are all these negative reviews and comments regarding Dr. Gita Singh and Leslie (the best receptionist). Dr. Gita Singh is a wonderful OB, she is kind, professional, and takes the time to thoroughly explain the process. Dr. Gita Singh made me felt really comfortable and well taken care of with her expertise and took the time to answer all the questions I had. Leslie, the receptionist, is so lovely and caring, she is very professional and efficient and makes sure all of the patients are well taken care of. She goes out of her way for all of the patients and always have the sweetest smile and best positive energy towards everyone. She always makes my day brighter every time I visit the clinic. I have such a wonderful experience with Dr. Gita Singh and Leslie and I want to take this opportunity to thank both of them again for everything. They deserve to be recognized for all of their hard work towards their patients.

The receptionist is extremely rude with patients. This is normal culture at immigrant Doctors office. Zero customer service. We have recently move to Markham/ stouffville and choose dr gita to be my wife's OB. One of the worst mistake we made. I would not recommend her.

Dr. Singh would get a 4 star rating. She’s kind, compassionate, and gives you your options.This rating reflects 2 stars as it is completely unfortunate that Dr. Singh is a great doctor with a disaster of a front desk/coordinator.Having been referred back to Dr. Singh by my GP in January 2022, the coordinator of the appointments claimed (three separate times) that she never received the referrals.She then calls back in March and claims that she had it and was then scheduling my appointment for August 2nd.I call to confirm the 2nd August appointment and she now claims it’s the 11th August.Sorry Dr. Singh, the disorganization and chaos of that coordination person was just too much to handle; can you imagine how it would be for test results?!Lessons Learned ladies: ensure you advocate for yourselves and follow up!! Don’t wait for them to call you.Moving on to another OB GYN.

Dr Singh is my ob and I’ve just delivered my baby successfully in msh last week. Since I was 41w+1, she made a right decision to use induction and helped contact hospital to make the arrangements. All was smooth and I delivered the baby quickly after induction.I would say she is professional and polite.I’ve seen many negative comments in google review and RatesMD regarding her and I agree with those about waiting time. It would be always 1 hour late at least.Reception desk is not very effective and I think that’s probably because it’s too busy there. Every time when I waited there, the call won’t stop and the lady has to handle a lot of things.

I would give this 5 stars just based off the Doctors knowledge but I’m taking the entire clinic in to account for my ratingThe doctor is super friendly and knowledgeable, she’s amazing!The receptionist Leslie, the total opposite.. she’s very condescending and doesn’t attempt to help the patient with schedulingThere is always a huge wait time (usually 1.5hrs - 2hrs) but the receptionist will lie to your face and tell you she’s on time (our appointment was at 11:45am .. we didn’t see the Doctor until 1:25pm, that’s not even close to being on time)Overall I think this could be an amazing clinic if Leslie was not a part of it, until then this clinic will be held back due to LeslieHow I rated out of 5 stars:Doctor Singh +2Leslie -2Punctuality -1

I had a positive experience with Dr. Gita Singh as my OBGYN during my pregnancy. She is kind and patient, and able to address all my questions and concerns. She provided a detailed info package that prepares you for the labour process at Markham Stouffville Hospital. The handouts are very informative and helpful. Her receptionist, Leslie, is so sweet and always answers the phone/responds to texts promptly. It is true that some of our appointments were delayed, but as a healthcare worker myself, I knew how busy our healthcare system can be and that unexpected events can happen, so I am understanding of the situation. You can always call ahead and check with Leslie, and she can give you an estimated wait time. Overall, I had a good experience and will return to Dr. Singh for my future OBGYN needs.

Dr. Singh was the OB on call when I delivered at MSH. I had a good experience with her and was surprised to see the poor reviews. I felt she was very knowledgeable and confident. She made the right decision for my delivery which ended up requiring a c-section. We could have tried other methods first but she trusted her gut and she made the right choice. Also, my incision looks excellent which I hear can not always be the case!! One thing I will say is, she seems more “serious” which people may take as her being rude but I think this is just her personality. She’s professional and there to do her job.

Dr. Singh was my doctor during my second pregnancy, i can not say in words that how much she helped me mentally. When i was pregnant for the first time i had postpartum depression, she completely understood my situation and every time i visit her she always ask me if i am feeling low or sad, and if i have any questions she always has the answers for my questions. So this time i had very good experience with Dr. Singh.
