Vancouver Mural Festival

This is one of the best-run festivals in Vancouver; plenty for everyone to see and do. Lots of art and music for everyone, activities for kids, food and drinks for adults. Even the sponsors have fun stuff.

Fantastic contributions to the city with marvelous murals in multiple locations throughout the Vancouver downtown and nearby neighbourhoods. Brilliant work that makes the city so much more vibrant and interesting. Love seeing gorgeous, colourful and often thought-provoking art in unexpected places, down alleys, behind and beside buildings, doorways and even trash bins.

I love Mural Fest. I think it brings life to the city, gets people exploring and talking and allows artists to showcase their work.This year, I was impressed with the app and the ability to apply search filters based on year and artist. The map was accurate and it was easy to download and use. It was also great to see some of the live events organized alongside Mural Fest.As for the murals, I usually end up just walking and seeing what pops up around the next corner. I didn’t explore a huge area this year, but I was happy seeing old murals along with some of the new ones. I always love seeing the artists at work, bringing their plan to life.I hope it continues to expand to new neighbourhoods again next year.

It makes the area I work and live look better than it already is. There are great murals that at certain times have great sunlight on them making them great backdrops for your Gram

This is a great yearly event in the Vancouver area, up the hill from the main street/science world skytrain station (alternatively, you can also walk from the Olympic Village station). Many murals to look at plus local beers and food to try out.

Absolute gem of a festival. Great location, fantastic art, and great entertainment along the route. The best is that it really spruces up the neighborhood, which has sort of decayed over time. Lovely initiative on the part of the organisers.

I just love wall graffiti, you will get to see very innovative and creative wall arts all over this area. You should explore this neighborhood walking around and spotting alot of wall arts. I just loved how beautiful everything looks. I wish I could attain this Mural festival myself.

Huge variety of artists, vendors and initiatives! Great for a stroll and some photos before or after lunch.
