The Mexican food cart that was there many years ago was absolutely outstanding by comparison to this one!These are the same owners as the Seaside in Vesuvius. Whereas the Seaside in Vesuvius is charming and the food is good, this is perhaps the most mediocre Mexican place I’ve ever eaten at. The taco (you get one small taco) for $8 is completely uninspiring. The enchiladas were like something you would get at a supermarket deli (yesterdays enchiladas on sale). I know this is a poor review but seriously they need to step up their game or potentially ruin their name for both place’s and give Saltspring a bad name at the same time. The other confusing thing is they offer fish and chips right next to a dedicated fish and chips place? Why? Focus on good Mexican food and you will have line ups down the street. Drive to Tofino and check out Tacofino for an insanely popular Mexican food cart and some inspiration. I sincerely hope they figure it out - so much potential in that location.

Seaside Restaurant
You can never go wrong with Mexican food let alone a Mexican food truck. Combine that with its location by the sea and you’ll be more than happy! Super friendly, kind hearted people here- you can just tell how much love is going into the food. 10/10 a must visit!
