I absolutely love this place. My friend always has amazing nails from Uptown and because of her, I started getting acrylics done here a few months ago. The prices are pretty standard, though if you get art or add gems the price can climb pretty high (they have always informed me of what the extra charges will be for my designs). That said, it is worth every dollar!!I’ve been getting my nails done for years now, and usually my nails lift or break by 2-3 weeks. My sets at Uptown have never budged. I even had one set stay in place for over four weeks! The techs are fast and I get constant compliments on my nails thanks to Jessica’s excellent work. For me, paying a slightly higher price for nails that last and look good is an easy choice.I also want to mention that when I was between acrylic sets, I had a great manicure that made my natural nails look amazing, and their pedicures are also worth treating yourself to.

Booked manicures for my friend and I. Staff barely said anything to us. They did our nails but never touched our hands. No creams, oils or waxes were used. Not even a quick hand massage. Will not be going back.

It was my first time here and it'll definitely be my last time here. I was really unhappy with the service. I walked in and instead of simply saying that they couldn't take me for a shellac manicure, and that they were too busy, they said that they could arrange something" and they put me in a pedicure station with UV nail lamp on my lap which was very uncomfortable. The lamp stopped working twice too. I had to sit with my feet (sneakers on) in the pedicure tub even though I was not there for a pedicure. A massive waste of $26.25 and you couldn't pay me to go back there."

I came to get my nails here yesterday I was going for a simple look as I’m doing my engagement photos and have my engagement party coming up this week. The nail tech basically gave me the opposite of what I wanted. My nails looked horrific… so unprofessionally done and she cut them too short. They looked bulky and so so bad… I called the next day and asked them if they could fix it. I went in at noon the next day, and the manager basically told me that they were cut too short and the look I was going for wouldn’t be possible. Mind you… her employee cut them too short for me! She proceeded to tell me she would charge me $65 for a new set basically, or try to shape them but shaping them means we would have to go shorter? I told her to just have them removed since they’re unwilling to fix them with no cost and I have my engagement party in a few weeks. When I sat down to remove them the nail tech basically took off the nail on my pinky with the tools she was using… I posted pics of the aftermath. This was the worst experience of my life. The worst nail salon. Save your money and go elsewhere. They didn’t fix my nails & ended up cutting my pinky... AND I TOLD THEM SEVERAL TIMES ITS MY ENGAGEMENT PARTY. A Girls worst nightmare.

It was unpleasant experience. I’ve never been asked for any drink service during my mani service (it wasn’t last time). As well, I asked for putting little design on my two nails before she put top coat and she just sighed in front me deeply. I tried to ignore it and was chatting with my friend about our nail colours while she is away for grabbing tools. Once she came back to her seat, she suddenly scolded at me. I didn’t understand what she is saying because what she was telling me is that I rubbed my nails on towels (underneath my hands) and it made scratches on nails. I was so surprised as this wasn’t my first time I visited nail shop and I know and all ladies know that we will never ever do this thing even at home when we do self-care. I was so disappointed and hope this won’t happen to anyone else.

UPDATED -Vanessa (the owner) called me and rectified the bad experience by offering me a complimentary new set of nails. I got them done by Sue again and was beyond satisfied. She did an exceptional job and my nails turned out better than what I could’ve ever expected.I would like to apologize to the whole team for judging them from one bad experience and thank them for having me come back and giving them a second chance, because I fell in love with their work again.I don’t think anyone should be judged based on one bad experience.Original -I went here once before and everything was great.The last nail tech I got, Sue listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. But this time I went and Vy did my nails. The first picture is what I showed her and the second picture is what she did... do they look at all similar? Umm NO!I know they ask if you’re happy with it at almost every step but she didn’t. And kept going and when I had a chance to actually examine what she has done it was too late and my appointment was finished.I am not a confrontational person and feel anxious when telling someone I don’t like their work. That’s why I appreciate them asking me before proceeding so I won’t have to live with something I don’t like for 2-3 weeks.

It cost me 2 manicures and months of time to grow my nails out ...only to have the technician painfully drill, clipped and filed away to stubs instead of the beautiful long nails I walked in with. See the first 3 photos as well as leaving me with severly uneven thumb nails. I went back only to have all the layers of powder removed and asked for regular nail polish see the results below. The worst manicure of my life. Photo #6 (last) shows the length BEFORE 4 weeks of growth having my nails brought to stubs and the worst 2 manicures of my life. The fact that the woman did not let me see my nails while she was doing the drilling is clear to me now. Do not even bother coming here it will cause you much unnecessary pain while destroying your nails.

I’ve come here multiple times and it’s always been such a great experience. :) I love getting dip manicures done here, as well as shellac pedicures. Highly recommend Tini, Kate and Holly.Holly did my pedicure today and she was amazing! Love how it turned out. The hot stone massage and foot/leg massage was super relaxing. Highly recommend. All the staff are super nice!

Had a great experience, was able to get in and out quick and staff all very friendly and place is clean. Need to get nails done fast keep this place in mind

NEVER EVER GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE. Honestly everyone was nice but the results were HORRIBLE. This lady proceeded to do basically do uggliest manicure on me and had the audacity to charge me 63 for the worst manicure I have ever seen in my life. Attached is my left hand and that’s the “better hand” as you can see the French is literally half of my natural nail, none of them are the same thickness. The fact that the lady didn’t let me see my nails while she was doing it makes sense now. Don’t even bother coming here, they can’t even do the basics.
