I was sent a bill for a test. Paid it. Weeks later I was sent another bill so I paid it thinking my first payment wasn't completed (didn't want it going to collections). It turns out I paid twice, January 10th and around February 20th. I have tried 10 or more times to retrieve my 35 dollars. I went to the lab, they gave me a number to call. I called over and over, each time being transferred to accounts recievable just to leave a voice message. I had call center people personally email AR, I have had an escalation put in, I have personally emailed them using their contact form. I had 1 call back only and the lady saif she can't help me but wanted to call because she heard the frustration in my voice mail. 35 is not much, but for a company this large to just ignore and toss aside someone who has been a patient for years is outrageous. Never been so mad about any companies customer service as I have been with this situation. I even had 1 person put me on hold and hang up. I'm not sure if there are alternative clinics for blood work, but I will definitely be using them if there are. Horrible customer service. Oh and let's not forget how horrible the staff's attitudes are. Seriously thinking of small claims just to make a point.

Complete garbage place.We got appointment after waiting 50 days and today on July 15th, this lab without informing any thing, shut the doors and directed patients to another lifelabs.Now we are waiting 2 hours at different lifelabs and no one is bothered that 2 senior citizens are fasting since morning.We had appointment at 9.50 a.m

I understand short staff, I understand as a customer I will have to wait. What I don’t understand is rudeness. Waiting at the front desk in the Burlington north office and being made to feel like I am an imposition. As, how dare I come to have blood drawn. Told to come back as they are short staffed and busy. Or, make an appointment. Well, try and get an appointment before 9am at any location! Unfortunately that is the time frame within which my blood needs to be drawn. I guess my rant is that a little kindness and grace goes A LONG way in this world where we are ALL overworked, short staffed and burning the candle at both ends. The same message could have been conveyed with a smile instead of a scowl. And…..ahem…. This is your job…. Try to at least pretend to enjoy it.

After Fairview lab was closed, I did several blood tests with this clinic. Obviously it becomes a very busy place but I found people here are working extremely hard with the pressure, they are working nonstop to provide professional service to the public, they deserve our appreciation! Waiting time is very long , but it is not their fault. Actually they are very creative, and help us to deal with the waiting, by telling us estimated waiting time and phone us when it is ready. So we do not need to really waiting in person but can go outside to do some errand. Hope this lab will keep open for people in Burlington!

I'm sure my experience is not indicative of all technicians but the employee I was unfortunate enough to get was horrible. Non verbal, not even a smile. No mask - yet patients have to wear one. chomping food/ gum while conducting the procedure. Absolute disgrace. Will go back if needed, but will steer clear of that woman.

I'm always so impressed with LifeLabs. I walked in upon opening without an appointment, and even with 5 people ahead of me, I was out of there in 15 mins. This is very impressive considering all the wait times I've been experiencing at doctors office and hospitals. Keep up the good work!

Had a bad experienced today. I was the last patient as I walked in at 7 minutes before closing. One of the two lab tech there was more worried about how much more work she have left to do. There was 2 patient ahead of me and when it came my turn I let the one attending me know about my veins being thin and drawing might be more tricky. She asked the other lady to do the drawing but the other lady attending the other patient needed to leave as soon as she's done for her 5pm appointment. The one attending me was sighing, grabbing stuff impatiently, dropping things while preparing 5 tubes for blood sample and a urine specimen cup. Her demeanor didn't really sit well with me. She poked both my hands to draw blood, one a little achy from her moving the needle around when the blood flow stopped halfway. All the while she was telling me I should drink more water. I had been through enough bloodwork for years to know that. She made me feel like it was my fault she wasn't able to draw all the blood needed for the 5 tubes. I understand that she may have been running behind and she wants to go home on time however, I am a patient. I went in the washroom to do the urine sample and when I walked out I overheard the other lady telling the one who took took my sample we can't rush bloodwork. Paperwork can be done after but drawing blood properly comes first.""
