Boilers R Us

Had Boilers R Us (aka Brother's Mechanical) in two years ago to do repairs on my boiler. I'm having my boiler serviced today (by another company) and when they opened it up for a general clean and service they noticed that one of the screws holding the swirl adapter plate was sheared (top right on the white disc in the photo). You can tell that the technician from Brother's Mechanical did a hack job on the other screws too. This will probably add $500-600 to my current bill to have repaired.I called Brother's Mechanical and managed to get in touch with Wayne. He didn't even want to consider that one of his guys could have done this and told me to have the current guy drill this out at my cost. It sounds like they have lots of experience with this kind of thing despite Wayne claiming that they're not responsible. Wayne was fairly rude, talked over me and in the end ultimately did not take responsibility for the damage that his technician did. This is too typical and seeing from the other reviews here on Google there seems to be a trend.

Wow, not sure how they have 5 Stars on Facebook!!! Those recommendations must be from their friends! Second day in a row waiting for Wein to show up. Said he will but didn't! Why would you say you will come for an appointment and then not show up??? Let people wait in the cold!!! Just tell people you are booked, and we will go look somewhere else! Seriously! I'm now glad they're not showing up! If this is how they'll do the job too? WOW, just WOW! Beware people!

My experience with Boilers R Us has been ongoing for many years and the service we have received from the beginning has been exceptional. We have a very complicated residential boiler and Wayne and his team are extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Boilers R Us, a division of Brothers Mechanical, out of Calgary gave the WORST service I have ever experienced. They charged me an extremely large amount for what amounted to a simple cleaning, did NOT fix the howling they were called for, forgot to turn a valve back on risking my pipes to freeze, never followed up with a promised quote (not that I would have them back). Just absolutely HORRIBLE!!! The owner said “you get what you pay for”, in this case I paid a lot for crap. Stay far away from these guys.
