Critter Control of Mississauga

Update: District manager offered a refund and was very nice. Bumped to 4 stars.Didn’t do a great job. Here’s the cons:Tried to schedule someone to come out twice after the initial inspection (which was free). First time I called, the woman on the line said the district manager would call me by the end of the day to schedule rodent removal. No call. I called the next day, again the woman was very nice and said someone would call me within the hour. No call. Followed up a third time and finally got a call. Guy came, was very nice and did his inspection and patched up a hole.Here’s the issue. I still noticed noises coming from under my roof after a few days. They didn’t install a one way door to let out the animals so I thought it was stuck inside. After 5 days I still hear noises and at this point if they are stuck inside they should have died. However i still heard noises which meant there’s another hole. I called them again to schedule another appointment for someone to come and take a look. the district manager this time did call me on a friday to say someone will be out on a monday. Monday comes and nobody comes. I call and we schedule a time for tuesday afternoon. Tuesday comes and nobody comes. I stand outside my roof and I see a squirrel coming out through a hole. Set a trap with an apple and managed to catch the squirrels. Then patched up the hole myself.TDLR: called numerous times to schedule something, nobody calls me back and had two no shows. Ended up fixing it myself.

Is critter control aware of the fact in Ontario it’s illegal to relocate raccoons more than a kilometre away because you’re in essence imposing a death sentence when you do? Do not let them relocate raccoons. They have 2 to 3 dens in the area, put a one-way door when the animal leaves your attic or space you repair it properly and they will move on.

The team at Critter Control were very professional. They safely removed a raccoon from my attic before any damage was done. They also installed barriers to ensure that it would not be coming back. I would highly recommend their service!

Horrible. Overcharges and is too proud and rude but does not even get the job done properly. Stay away.

Dan did a fantastic job of removing our unwanted attic-residents.It wasn't an easy task -- there were three adults, including a mama with babies. We took what seemed like counter-intuitive advice, let mama free and trust that she would remove the babies herself after our presence was known. The strategy demonstrated excellent knowledge of animal behaviour, experience, and it worked!! We have been raccoon-free for four days now. Dan came back, secured our roof, ensured there was no damage, and looked for evidence of critters. NONE! Thanks again, Dan!

Wish I could give 0 stars... charged me $300 & didn’t even get the job done. Scammers.. definitely stay away!

I had an exemplary experience with Critter Control of Toronto - I had an issue with a racoon slipping under my AC cover. I called first thing at opening - 8am - the company was able to have a technician out on the same day. Eli was super professional, patient, reassuring and efficient. He arrived earlier than expected, accessed the situation and was able to solve the problem and educate us on how to prevent similar issues in the future. I highly recommend CC of Toronto and will share their contact info with friends and family in the same situation. Thank you again, I will sleep soundly this evening.
