I found the service I received from Pro Pacific DKI excellent. The Project Manager, Chandler Norman and his team were highly professional; they responded to any enquiries in a timely manner; were very flexible in dealing with a highly complex remediation and reconstruction project; and the work was of a high quality. There were no surprises with either costs or timeframes to complete the work. Everything was completed within budget and time. I would recommend this company to anyone who requires remediation and restoration construction work

OMG this business is terrible. Please, if they get assigned to your repair please ask for someone else.We filed a complaint with our insurance provider over their actions. Staff were rude and repeatedly failed to notify the landlord for access to the tenancy. Staff were unprofessional, made poor decisions that resulted in damage to our appliances (we saw it happen from the garden) and then denied it. They were full of blame and inexperienced advice.Months passed after we complained. We just found out the project manager filed a made-up complaint against us with our insurance stating we were operating an illegal car repair garage. They never saw any activity in that garage, because it’s a hobby garage for a mechanic transitioning to carpentry. Their complaint was clearly out of spite for a bad review with the insurance broker.Stay away from this company.

I would like to say thank you so much to the ProPacific team for the response to and professionalism of the entire team on the handling of the flood damage in my home.Project manager, Regan, was extremely supportive, efficient and well organized. I was very apprehensive and particular about all the work that needed to be done, and he assured me that I would be in good hands. They took great care in every aspect of the project. I could not have asked for a better outcome and greatly appreciate each and every person that worked on the project. Thank you once again.I highly recommend this company to anyone with restoration needs.

I have unfortunately had a terrible experience with Pro Pacific! I am sure there are some good people who work with this company however the project manager I was assigned was terrible with communication, didn't answer calls or get back to you. First of all they removed the drying equipment from my home when there was still wet mould visible in the walls. We had to call to get them to come bring drying equipment back. The work didn't start for over two months and I was never kept informed about what was happening unless I phoned the office to keep asking. When the work finally did start there were several times when people were scheduled to work and I would come home from work only to see that no one had been there and again unless I was the one that phoned the office (project manager doesn't answer calls) I would not be informed of schedule changes to my home. Two of the larger repairs had to be redone as the work was substandard. This should have been seen and corrected by them as my home is only 4 years old and it was easy to see but again I had to say something and call them back. I am usually not a person to complain but this was an exaughsting experience and you certainly had to pay attention and my biggest regret is not going to the owner /manager of the company to voice my concerns about the project manager and issues I was having much sooner along the way!

I would give zero stars if it was possible. Stay away! Lack of professionalism is next level. From the arrogant project manager not showing up to scheduled appointments(when my partner and I have taken days off work to meet with him), to taking our deductible with the promise of a work schedule by end of week and not contacting us again. After 5 weeks of waiting for a work schedule, it took our insurance adjuster having to email them before we got a call back. I requested a refund of our deductible and had to repeatedly enquire about it’s whereabouts over the course of 2.5 weeks. Their communication is terrible and they have no respect for their client’s time. If you want to make a traumatic experience even worse, these are your guys! Our flood was on May 5th and here we are on August 22nd having to start from scratch.

I live in Nanaimo, BC and I NEVER leave reviews but I need to let everyone know about my experience with Pacific Pro DKI. Without naming names, overall we had a TERRIBLE experience. Pacific Pro DKI was the company in charge of some insurance restorations on our house after a flood. The communication was extremely poor and we never seemed to be told the truth about repair schedules (I'm talking WEEKS-MONTHS after their proposed repair dates). The flood took place on January 1st, 2021 and here we are on March 4th, STILL being lied to about the schedule for repairs that THE CONTRACTORS inflicted on our home. The damages caused by the contractors have been worse than the damages caused by the flood! My spouse and I work from home so these constant interruptions have been very disruptive and caused a lot of un-needed stress. The lack of professionalism is unbelievable and there's simply zero-poor communication between Pacific Pro DKI and the subcontracting companies (flooring, plumbing, etc.) leaving us to inform each separate entity/contractor that walks through our door about the repairs that need to be completed. I would give them zero stars if I could. If you want restorations done quickly with no stress, tell your insurance companies you DO NOT want the work order carried out by Pacific Pro DKI!!!

Pro-Pacifc have proven to be reliable and professional in helping us with a difficult situation, acting quickly and working with their established industry contacts to resolve the matter.During an Open House staged by EXP Realty early July, a vindictive neighbour or vicious strata council crony masquerading as a buyer entered our house and deliberately broke a panel of the ceramic wood fireplace doors - without which we cannot heat our house over winter. EXP declined to take responsibility and we cancelled our contract as the realtor routinely underperformed, and failed to act with any integrity. We called our insurance firm (TD) who immediately contracted Pro-Pacific to send an agent to assess the damage and develop a plan. He (N. Dodds) took the broken unit to be repaired at Pioneer Fireplaces. Within a few weeks the unit was ready and Mr. Dodds returned and installed the unit just in time for an Open House staged by Remax. We are most grateful for this swift professional service and will certainly recommend Pro-Pacific to all our neighbours. Winter is coming and we will all have need of reliable firms like Pro-Pacific. who are there" in times of need."

We had a burst pipe flood our home and Pro Pacific DKI was the company sent by our insurance company for the emergency call out. The team was fast and took the necessary means to start the dry up process right away.We then selected Pro Pacific DKI to complete the entire restoration process which included new flooring of almost the entire upstairs floor level(including underneath the kitchen kicks and gables!), base boards, drywall rebuilding, painting and closet re building. It was quite a large job, but Ben and his team did an excellent job.Communication with Ben the project manager was fantastic- he was always quick to respond to any questions we had and made us feel like everything was under control; which it was!The entire crew sent up by Ben was fantastic. There were quite a few hands on this job, and every person who showed up worked diligently and with care. I specifically appreciated the attention to trying to remove all the staples from our floor as we have children in the home, and the team was cognizant of their little feet; thank you!Another special shout out to Denis who was so industrious to complete this job with the highest standard of quality. Denis is the jack of all trades and is skilled in many areas; his knowledge was incredibly beneficial on this project. Ben (and Denis) had said that by the time Pro Pacific was done in our home, it would look even better than before. And it does! This job was completed ON TIME which was so much appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend or use Pro Pacific DKI again. Thank you again for all of your hard work!

Do not hire them or let your Strata hire them. My insurance claim repairs were a total nightmare (they dmaged more than they fixed) and their Home Renovations division, Island Premier Contracting (IPC) is just as bad. My Strata hired them after a flood in my condo. I then hired them to do a full bathroom renovation, replace all my doors, build two new closets, etc. The guy that was sent to my place was a brand new employee and he botched everything he did. He was not a tile installer at all and he's done the most horrible tile job I've ever seen. They agreed to hire a third party to redo the job and it looked better, but it speaks volume when a company pretends they can do something and they have to hire another company to do the work properly. Plus, Pro-Pacific caused two new water leaks after refusing to hire a plumber to replace my new shower head/faucet. The paint job they did on my new doors was horrible, etc. They're trying to save money any way they can but are not saving anything as the work has to be redone and redone again. Also they sent a guy once every couple months to work at my place, so both the repairs and renovations were going nowhere. Two of their best employees in charge of my project decided to quit six months apart, adding headaches and delays to my project. A year after they started my bathroom renos it's still not finished. 18 months after my flood the repairs are still not completed. Totally unreliable and incompetent.
