My expensive kitchen cabinets are now six years old. We are out of town for more than half the year. Only 2 people live in our home, and we have been very careful to take care of them. The finish is now terrible. About 3 years ago I contacted the cupboard contractor who contacted Nickel, because I was very concerned about the shiny spots all around the handles and in other places as well. A rep. from Nickel finally came, after repeated calls, about a year ago. I was told by their representative that he could see why I was not happy - he took photos and said he would get back to me when he spoke with his boss, as to what they would do for us. I was told by my cupboard contractor at that time that I shouldn't worry, Nickels would take care of the issue, and that in fact they had a better paint now. After repeated enquiries during the next six months, which were ignored, I was told that Nickels could see nothing wrong with my cupboards - exactly the opposite of what their rep. said. Horrible customer service after they take your money.
