Extremely Disappointed with Pathetic Customer Service.I had a terrible experience with home taste in Waterloo recently. I placed a pick-up order over the phoneof two ordered of veg Biryani and the lady confirmed that my order would be ready in 10 minutes. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, I was informed that they didn't have the item I had ordered in stock.I was extremely frustrated with this level of miscommunication and unavailability of basic items when I confirmed over a phone and drove 20 mins to get a food .It's disheartening to receive such poor customer service, especially when I had specifically confirmed the availability of my order.This incident showed a lack of professionalism and attention to detail on the part of HomeTaste . It's unfortunate that they couldn't fulfill a simple order and felt no need to inform me in advance or offer any alternative options.Based on this experience, I have no choice but to give a one-star rating. I hope this feedback helps them improve their customer service and prevent future disappointments for others.

Veg and Non veg both options available and are also pretty good, just the person taking orders was not behaving properly and was rude when we tried to make a little change in our order. She was making faces which is considered not professional all other things were good.

I recently visited Hometaste Waterloo. I think , this is the best place if you are looking for authentic Punjabi food or appetizers. The girl at the front provided a really great service. She greeted me with a smile. The food quality and quantity is really good. This restaurant is worth spending money.

Amazing place! They just opened up, we visited a week ago. I loved their delivery from Kitchener but now that they are open in Waterloo, I’m really happy that I can go there and enjoy the meal. The food is really good! And the portion size for the price is amazing!

We all really liked the food, we tried all the burgers, spring rolls and parantha with chana. The only reason for three stars, was because of the service as it was not at all up to the mark. The cashier didn’t knew how to speak in proper English as well as was too rude while taking the order. She also didn’t mentioned that burgers come with pop. Spring rolls weren’t that fresh all other food item were good.

If you like indian food and looking for a vegetarian meal with reasonable price, please do yourself a favor and go to hometaste. I ordered a large thali and the food quantity and quality was excellent. I tried shahi panner, palak panner, dal makhani and madala rajma. They all were seriously delicious. I got 2 rotis and rice and 1 sweet along with those 4 sabjis.Talking about quantity: I wan hungry since morning and havent had my breakfast, went for lunch to this place and large thali was more than enough for me and it just costs 11-12$. Its a full meal with dal-roti-sabji-rice.Talking about quality: At some places when you order paneer sabji or rajma, mostly few pieces of panner will be floating in the pool of gravy, well it wasn't the case here. Taste was really good.
