Stopped in to pick up a mini breaker for my RV on a long shot... sure enough they had one in their cabinet! !! Great friendly service. The team there work hard to please you. Don't let the size of the place deter you.

4 years I've tried in vain to use this location, in support of local business.Time after time I'm forced to deal with the pompous PR*CK Peter and have finally had enough. This rude aragant person shouldn't work anywhere never customer service.With massive projects planned for my extension, fencing and general remodelling of home coming up, I'll be sure to NOT to use this location for my supplies.Tried to support local, moving on.

I just agree with the reviewer giving them one star down there. I don't know his name though, there definitely is one guy making me feel bad about his attitude every time I go there for sudden need. He doesn't seem to try to be helpful to his customer, this time it was me, and does have a rude manner. Kinda feel weird this time though because he was talking happily loud enough for me to hear and feel that specific manner was only for me. Is that because I'm an Asian guy or wearing a mask? I won't put it this way because I moved in this city 8 months ago from Kitchener and have never felt that way there and mostly here as well. Also, typical Canadians I have known and met for more than 20 yrs never acted that way, that much. The reason I leave 4 stars here is only because the gentleman who helped me to find what I need with proper manner and all others who have right attitude to shine all customers' projects. :)

As a professional General Contractor I purchase and deal with several suppliers been working in Ayr close to Paris and thought let's buy Canadian Well not sure who running the show but no customer service. Manger never offered contractor privilege or service over priced materialsI have spent some serious money at this point go to purchase concrete two full skids and a truck 30 min away loaded bring more supplies including concrete sorry you can't purchase any concrete That we have available you have to wait 30 min for the truck we need these to lock orders ok 30 min later truck shows up I still looming g at the same skids of concrete. NOBODY Picked one order how frustrating as a contractor losing money because they will not accommodate customer serviceWOW

I was almost walking out the door and Tonia reached out to assist me. Turns out she had product I was interested in. Resulted in me buying a few things. Thanks for the great service. Rare these days. But this location offers professional and great service. Thanks Tonia.

Todd, Tonya & Deb are all very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with!! Not the stock of a big box store but enough for most jobs and the service makes up for it!

I was into J&K Home Building Centre in Brantford yesterday. I was looking for a galvanized reducing coupling for an outdoor tap. The girl at the front desk was very nice and the young man in plumbing was very helpful as well. Unfortunately, the young man helping me find the attachment I needed was not that knowledgeable about his department so he asked the female service manager to assist us. However, she was talking to another employee and declined to come over. The young man continued to assist me for another 15 minutes and, when the service manager was free, he went over to ask her for help again. Again she declined to help. This, by the way, was 1:45pm and the store was empty. The young man continued to help me for another 15 minutes. I then went over to ask this woman to help me find the part we were looking for. Only then did she finally come over and found the one part they had left in the store. However, because they only had one of these parts she said I could not purchase it because they would need it to reorder more. I suggested they take a picture of the part but she still refused to sell it to me. I was in the store for 40 minutes. I was the only person in the store and have never experienced a lazier customer service person in my life as the female service manager at this Home building centre. I then went to my local Home Building Centre in Paris. I asked the manager, Peter, for the part and not two minutes later I had the part, paid for it and was on my way. Peter and his staff are top notch. I will never go anywhere else again. If you are unfortunate enough to have J&K as your local building centre, do yourself a favour and make the drive to Paris. I promise you, you won’t be disappointed.
