Been a loyal customer for over 6 years. Spent thousands of dollars at her place. Even though she is expensive always went back because she always did a good job...until today i returned 3 pairs of pants that she didn't adjust them right. She insisted to share the cost to re-fix the 3 pairs of pants, she told me that it costs very expensive to pay her workers..when i said it wasn't right because it was their mistake, she yelled that she wasn't going to touch the pants anymore and walked away. Speechless i told her how she can treat a long term customer like that way and she completely ignored me... never came back to the counter. No respect, too bad.

I came to see Ms. Yoo based on reviews and brought in an ordinary suit I had laying around for a while that didn’t fit me anymore. Boy, did I not expect the kind of attention to detail and quality I received, and this, in a short period of time! The final product looks and fits better than any other of my tailored suits I own. I highly recommend Ms. Yoo to anyone looking for a fitted piece at a reasonable price. Thank you Ms. Yoo, you have made yourself a new longtime customer.

THIS WOMAN IS A SAINT!!! I gave her my dress that needed quite a few alterations and literally a day and a half to get it done because I had a wedding In Toronto and came into town for only 2 days.She helped me out so much and did a fantastic job with the little amount of time that I gave her. I told her I would pay double as long as she could do it on time and she charged me a small surplus. Thank you SO MUCH MARIA! You saved me, really!Definitely will be back xoxo

I just got back from getting a wedding dress altered by Mrs. Yoo and am over the moon happy with the miracle she was able to perform. Originally, when we received the dress from the bridal shop and my daughter tried it on, my heart sank because it really didn't fit well; the bodice looked terrible and the skirt was ill-fitted. It would take major alterations to the bodice and skirt to make it look good. But Maria Yoo performed a miracle and the dress looks so nice now, even I'M saying YES to the dress thanks to Mrs. Yoo!!!

I rarely require services from a tailor, but when I do, from now on, I will do business with Maria Yoo. Very skilled and professional women. Even though she was busy with her scheduled work, she helped me out with a complicated costume pouch I needed for my wheelchair. She even did a little extra work with no extra cost. I found the price to be very fair, reasonable. I would recommend her to anyone that needs any costume tailor work.

Maria is so awesome! She used to be a pattern designer and has a great eye for what needs to be done on your clothing !!She is super sweet and won’t regret choosing her to work on your clothing !She has made several alterations on most of my clothing and I so appreciate her !

it was a bad experience even though it wasn't the first time I come to Maria for her services. I asked her to do some alteration on a dress and when I came to pick up my dress I didn't try it, I paid and went home. when I arrive at home a did try the dress and the problem I had on the back of my dress was still there. I went back to Maria the next day and showed her the dress she told me that I argued the price and this is what I get for it and that I could do it myself by adjusting the stripes on the shoulders and it will just work, of course it didn't work the probleme still there.A little advice, never pay and leave without trying a second time your clothes.

First , I have to say that I have never in my life written a bad review about anything but I feel that I have been treated so badly that it needs to be exposed. I brought 2 blouses to Maria Yoo; a seamstress I have given a lot of business to in the past and one that I recommended to a lot of people. One week later I go to pick up my blouses and decided to try one of them which looked strange on the hanger. To my surprise, it had been totally altered even in places we never talked about and was absolutely unwearable; Maria recognized this and at first said that she would fix it and then admitted that it would be very difficult to fix and that she was too busy to try to do so ; she asked me how much I paid for the blouse and that she would give me $ instead. I was So surprised by her behavior that even though I had just bought that blouse, I did not remember that I had paid 180$ for it , I took the 100$ she gave me, paid my 50$ for my other blouse which was an easy fix (the sleeves had to be shortened) without trying it and left.When I got home I tried the blouse, the repair was a disaster; one sleeve was twisted; the sleeves were uneven ; longer in the back than in the front; so bad that I had to bring it back to Maria. She got mad , said that a solution would be to put elastics in the sleeves!! I said no to this and asked her to fix it so that it could be wearable. When I went back to pick it up one week later, she said that she did not try to fix it! and that the blouse was badly constructed! This was a 100% silk Ralph Lauren blouse and there I was with my second ruined blouse; she gave me back the 50$ I paid for the repair ! And said that I was too difficult, that she could not satisfy me and would not serve me again!!! I was so upset; 2 very good quality and fairly expensive blouses of mine were ruined and SHE was mad at me!!! Maria said that she did not know that it would turn out that way ; that it is not guaranteed when we bring things that it will turn out ok and on and on!!! basically it was my fault that i trusted her to repair my blouses and if they were ruined, so be it! and that she was being very good to me to have offered to repay 100$.Well that was a shocking and disappointing experience ! I consider myself a fair person and this was not a fair situation!

Maria and her team are by far the best in city. Not only is every project done to perfection, but she makes recommendations that make the piece she is working on truly custom. Small alterations that she has done have truly transformed the pieces.She is truly a master when it comes to her work and I would not trust anyone else with my alterations.I have recommended Maria to everyone I know and time after time she doesn’t disappoint.Thank you Maria !!!!
