Victoria is an amazing teacher. She’s very knowledgeable and brings more than just vocal exercises to class. I’m not an opera singer, but incorporating classical music into my repertoire completely opened up my voice which has been revolutionary for my original works. Although I had been singing casually for years, I had never taken lessons before Victoria. She has taught me so much about the proper technique and form of singing and I am no longer worried about straining my voice with her techniques. She makes the lessons so enjoyable and is continuing to help foster my love for singing, while giving me the technical tools to pursue singing safely and effectively.

Victoria is an amazing teacher. I started with weekly 30 minutes classes with absolutely no musical training in any instrument or vocal experience and within no time I felt confident and comfortable singing and saw myself progress rapidly. Victoria is my first ever voice teacher. I commenced lessons with her in my late sixties. I had sung for most of my life with very poor technique and a great deal of tension. Now, seven years later, I have completed Royal Conservatory Grades 4, 5, 6, and 7 with first class honours, and I am working on Grade 8. I have also participated in Voice courses at the Victoria Conservatory and sung solos for the first time in public concerts.Victoria is a kind and intuitive teacher who, besides her great skill and knowledge in voice technique, manages to be very demanding and at the same time always positive and encouraging. She has gradually grown my confidence over the years while painstakingly unravelling me from all my tensions and hang-ups, and nurturing my deep love of singing.

Victoria combines deep knowledge of vocal technique with a gentle, caring approach to teaching. I still have her handouts on the anatomy of sound production, along with a host of warm-up exercises I use to this day. She radiates a love of music, and creates a safe, encouraging environment that allows her students to take creative risks.
