I ordered some tires and rims for my side by side from the owners. Very knowledgeable and helpful people. Within 10 minutes I was assured my needs would be met. I was contacted the same day with photos of the specialized equipment I needed. A very good price was offered. By the end of the week my rims and tires were ready for pick up. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for quality personal service. Great job Mr and Mrs Busby!!!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Every experience I have had with them has been incredibly positive. If you need any work done at all to your recreational vehicles , no matter the make or model, get your work done here! I have lived in Bancroft for 25 years, this is my legitimate unbiased opinion.

I’ve shopped here for the past 8 years for odds and ends and Its time I mention how incredible these people are. Just recently I was missing an important single screw for my Yamaha snowmobile and they went out of their way to find the right sized part as a solution for me even though they are not a Yamaha dealer. I understand how busy they have been this Winter and they still took the time to get me running again. When I showed up curbside to pick it up they didn’t even want my money. Truly impressed by this dealer, and will continue to support them in return over the years to come.

Thanks to all at Makin Waves Marine... we just took delivery of our Princecraft Pontoon and are very pleased. Thanks to Jennifer from sales and Gord, the delivery driver - all great people! Would highly recommend!

We brought our pontoon boat in for servicing and to have a fish finder installed; we picked it up and put it in the water only to have no power to lights, radio and horn. When we called, the response was to bring it back in. Our electrical worked before bringing it in but did not after servicing. Making Waves said their notes indicated all was working...not the case. In fact, there was water in one of the lights. They would not come to service it on site....too busy. We spent a lot of money to not have our boat operating properly. We ended up going to another marine service operator who came to our home and confirmed the electrical was not working; repairs were made. Service quality and honouring work done is poor at Makin' Waves Bancroft. Get them to confirm their work before you leave the lot....or, check around. There are other service providers who do great work and follow up with their customers.

Called looking into atv accessories and spent much of the time explaining what a snow thrower front attachment was to the individual who answers the phones. They put me on hold while they asked their colleagues and when they got back on the phone told me it would be 7000 dollars and take at least a year to order it. I’ve not used them for repair work or servicing but my neighbour has. Once on a oil change the mechanic forgot to fill it back up with oil. They ran it just after that and seized the engine.

A simple repair of leaking oil took 3 months. After repair,a worse problem appeared ,to fix it estemait over 1000$. MARINE does not want to admit to a mistake in the assembly during repair. I decided to take the case to court. I do NOT RECOMMEND SERVICES.

Dropped an ATV off in November with a starter issue. Was told it couldn't be looked at for a week as the guys in the shop were hunting as well, no problem. Don't hear anything all winter so we call them in early may to find out what's going on. They say it's ready to go and we can get it next week on our way to the cottage. Call the day before to confirm and not it's not ready to go and they had to order a part that could take weeks. (clearly they forgot about it) Fast forward 9 months later to August and it's finally ready. Go to get it today and the mechanic who drives it from the shop and up the ramp onto my truck pulls it in a bit hard and hits the back window after i asked him to take it easy since the winch lines up with the window. I get back to the cottage and go to unload the ATV and almost end up with it on top of me as the front brake doesn't work. I just called to find out why no one said anything and the girl tells me that we never asked them to look at the brake, so they didn't check it. I pointed out that clearly they knew it was not working if they drove it around and the mechanic clearly had an issue with it putting it on my truck and she tells me they definitely didn't know and maybe it happened because the bike was in storage. The bike wasn't in storage... your terrible service dept forgot about it and didn't fix it, that's why it was still there. Regardless, i am okay with things breaking and get it, but to not say something when you know its a problem then try and blame me for it when i ask you about it is just terrible service. Not sure why anyone would want to deal with these guys. Our cottage neighbors have had similar service / parts issues with them this summer as well.... I would avoid at all costs... Oh and the sarcastic response from the owner below sums up their customer service perfectly. The atv was under my father in law's name and if you can't remember this all happening, it speaks volumes about you and the quality of your company. Keep up the great work!
