This company is fantastic. The crew works very hard and the tree fallers are incredibly skilled. A very professional job at a very reasonable price. A very high recommendation from us.

Ty @ Sechelt Tree Service was great! He phoned me back within 1 hr of leaving a message, came by our place 10 mins later to do the estimate and offered a very fair price (to remove vines off many trees & chainsaw a large tree that had fallen over our stairs to the beach.) They scheduled us in, 3 days later --arrived early that day and were done within an hour or two! We were VERY impressed! Highly recommend Ty and his team. Prompt, friendly, professional service at a great price.

We had three very difficult alders to be taken down. One live tree hanging very close over our power lines and two dead trees that were threatening buildings below. Will, the bucket truck man, was incredible - an artist at work! With Dave, his assistant on the ground, they made a great team. Almost made the process look easy at 80 feet in the air. Punctual, hard working, fast, considerate. I would definitely recommend.

I would not recommend this service. I booked this service and was quoted a certain amount for tree removal. When the crew arrived I asked them for additional service and the response was if they couldn't include it in the one day service the price would increase by $900.00. They had some equipment malfunction and were not able to complete the job in one day due to repair. I live on the mainland and was not able to stay for the second day service and unfortunately a lot of debris was left plus I was charged the additional fee! I did not realize until I had arranged for trees to be cutdown locally on the mainland, that the clean up is usually part of the package. When I asked Sechelt tree service to pick up the debris left from their services there was every excuse in the book not to.

Ty and his crew were highly recommended after doing a large job at a friends property. Wow! What a great crew! They did an amazing job on my property. I have huge trees that needed cleaning up and I could not be happier. Ty recommended a few things and I am so happy he did. Great work, fair prices , and they left my yard cleaner than it was before. My yard looks amazing and such wonderful light!Professional, prompt, and friendly .... I definitely recommend them!

They supposedly gave me a deal after saying my Cherry tree was a dangerous tree. After 2 other opinions saying the tree was fine. Tyrel is friends with the neighbours (I use those words loosely)who had the bylaw officers after me about the tree. After so much harassment and coercion. I had tree down which still had cherries on it. Told to pay in cash and instalments. I paid $300. Then I was planning to pay next instalment. I get the Said neighbours threatening me that if I don't pay Tyrel he is taking me to Court. I will eventually pay him but I will never use them again. I found the whole situation very upsetting and a perfectly healthy tree is dead. I would not recommend Sechelt Tree Service.

The team did an amazing job removing a dead tree in the year and cleaning up a few other problem trees. They were on time, cleaned up the mess and had really good advise on managing the remaining trees.

I sent emails to 3 tree services and no one replied. I then phoned the 3 services. One replied and suggested another service. Tyrell Hackett of Sechelt answered his phone and said he would be by the next day for an estimate. He arrived at the appointed hour and provided his estimate for the work and a date when it could be done. At that time, I had hoped to get other estimates over the next few days to no avail. I called Tyrell on Saturday expecting to speak to an answering machine but he answered but couldn’t confirm the date was available as he was at a bbq. He called on Sunday and asked if he could the job a day early. The crew arrived on time, took the tree down, cleaned up, and stacked the wood which had been cut into fireplace lengths. My experience was excellent and highly recommend this service.

Called for the service to remove a tree, the owner came by the give the rate, his employees came by and doubled the price. Called the owner back as he defended the change of price from his employee. Got to wonder what would motivate such move, without thinking it’s race motivated. Same job done perfectly by Gibbons tree services.
