We hired DBS to put a foundation under our beloved cabin that has been used by our family since 1937.Everything about this job was handled with care, skill, expertise and best of all - clear, kind, understanding communication from start to finish. I can't say enough good things about DBS.I am impressed with this team - from Zach that first came out and met with us to explain the helical piers and smart jacks, to Mike that responded quickly and clearly to all of my questions and concerns leading up to the work being done. And then Nate and Adam showed up and did a stellar job (40 bags of cement mixed and hauled under the cabin in buckets) and told us exactly what they were doing every step of the way. Our cabin is now stable, level and ready to safely hold our family and the generations to come. I'm very very very happy with the work DBS did for us and highly recommend them. They are THE BEST~!

DBS has been and excellent business to work with to get foundation repairs completed in our Aurora, MN home. The crew (Nate Simonson, Foreman) that did our foundation work was very professional, on time, and worked very efficiently completing quality work in a timely manner. I especially want to call out the crew's attention to detail including clean up after the work was complete.

Our experience with DBS from start to finish was extremely professional. Our installation crew, consisting of Fred Ethan and Tyler were hard-working, professional, punctual, respectful and congenial from start to finish. We were kept informed and updated several times each day. They cleaned up perfectly when the work was completed. I would recommend them without any hesitation Our experience with our estimator, Rich was also exemplary.

We used DBS to have our foundation stabilized so it would quit sinking in addition to adding a sump pump, the WaterGuard system to help with the condensation leaking into the basement and the dehumidifier system for the basement. Starting from the first visit getting a quote to the end with the guys finishing the work, every single person was amazingly professional. When I got to be nosey and wanted to see what was happening the guys would explain every bit of the process and how this was helping my home. The guys that came to my home were great, I would like to point out Trevor, Gavin, Osia, and Erik these guys know their jobs and got it done quick. A+ work.

Miguel and his crew installed insulation in our attic. They were very professional, friendly and thorough. They cleaned up well after they finished, very happy with this crew!

I was on the fence for 3 or 4 stars. Their initial sales consultation was awesome and thorough. Helped us identify the source of a water problem in a saturated foundation that the previous owners of the house covered up before selling to us. The waterproofing and sump system they installed seem to be working and they were REALLY quick/efficient in the installation. It only took two days. We also don't have water in our basement this spring, so effectively did what we were hoping.However, for paying $10,000 for a project I was kind of disappointed in some of the work that they did. There was one team out on the first day to set up sheeting to cover areas of our basement that need to be protected from dust and debris and start demo, but there was another group that came out the second day that took down half of the sheeting for some reason. Half of our basement was completely covered in fine (concrete?) dust and I spent three weeks cleaning it up. Part of the concrete they laid down also now has cracks after 6 months.The sales person that came out for the estimate also said they could do a quick fix on a void that had developed outside of the house along the wall that they were waterproofing, but the group that came out to do the work said that wasn't part of the contract. That's probably on us for not getting it in writing in the contract (we signed the contract the day of the estimate to get a discount) and they also just might not have communicated, but left a bit of a bad impression.

Insulation project of attic space in existing home. My roof started developing ice dams and leaking after 20 years. Old insulation was no longer effective. DBS sent Uriah out for a free quote very quickly. He evaluated and explained everything, step-by-step, that would be involved. All questions answered. The project was scheduled in a timely manner. Very prompt communication ongoing.Nick & Rob showed up on the job on the date and time as specified. Nick was very informative and knowledgeable. He kept me informed of all that was being done and shared pictures as the project progressed. He was professional and personable. The project was completed in the time frame stated. Everything was cleaned up before they departed.My home felt immediately warmer!! Unfortunately, at this time, I will not know if this will prevent future ice dams, but I am very optimistic. I was guaranteed they would come back and revisit the issue if it is not resolved.Thank you Nick and DBS.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with DBS from start to finish. Trevor and his crew came out and installed 4 geolock foundation anchors on my basement wall that was bowing in. Trevor is a professional. He is a strong communicator and he made sure I was informed and comfortable with the work they were completing at every stage. Under his lead, all of the work was completed efficiently and I am confident it is to the highest quality. If you are considering having any work done in this field, I recommend DBS 100%. Uriah came out and gave a remarkably thorough inspection to prepare a detailed proposals on the spot. His expertise and professionalism were admirable.

They refused to give us a bid. The representative was very much a salesman who treated us like “my way or the highway”. We had a family friend present and the representative would not talk to him on our behalf. When we contacted them again to ask for the bid after their visit to survey our basement, they said they refused to bid or do the work. Their representative was too hurt because we asked him to speak to our close friend instead of us personally. We had a family medical emergency and were just not available when he came over. He was dead-set on bonding with the homeowner to make a sale and inflexible about it. We will have a much more professional company with customer concerns as their priority instead of high pressure sales.
