Illinois Nails

Anna is amazing! She's the best when it comes to detail and quality. Helen is amazing at designs. They are the only 2 nail techs I'll let do my nails. I only wish that they had a better system with their walk-in process or appointments. I have made an appointment and I've waited still 45 min. to even an hour and a half to get in the chair, at times even more than that. I've gone in as a walk-in and waited 30 minutes up to 3 hrs. That is the most frustrating part. It seems like they might take walk ins even though they have appointments booked. As a customer of many years, I'm used to it. But I definitely get frustrated because if you have an appointment, you base your day based on that. It is my choice to go somewhere else, but I just haven't found anyone I like more than these 2 ladies. If they could just get it together in that aspect of customer service, I know a lot of customers would be happy. Going there for so long there, I experience at least 1 upset customer when I'm there about the wait time. I don't blame them if they are new, but if you're a returning customer, well, we know what we are to expect when we walk in this establishment. It's sad to say, but yes, it's our choice. It has been like this for years, so I doubt it will change. But one can only hope. For now I will continue to go till I find a new place. Also, they are, in my opinion, a bit pricier than local nail places. You decide if it's worth it. For me it shows in the work.

I absolutely love and adore Anna, and when she does my nails. The issue is they are never and I emphasize never open on time and then you know they’re in there and they’re not answering the phone either. Sadly, they have lost a customer. Nail shops are Dyme-A-Duzin. I will find somewhere else.

I stopped going to Illinois Nails because I waited 2 hours about 3 weeks ago, I was done with my pedicure and Eric took 2 women, when he was supposed to take me. I was told 10 min by Cindy, then that turned into 40 min, Then Helen told me 10 min, that turned into another 40 min. So I got up and told Helen I was leaving. She said something to Eric in their language and she told me 10 min, I told her no I'm leaving. She kept saying so sorry to me. Then yesterday I was ignored when I signed in. Then a women came in and she was greeted by Helen, and she said her daughter was coming as well and Helen said ok. She sent her to wash her hands and I was still waiting, and she still didn't say anything to me. I had an appointment for 1pm with Tony and still waited for 30 min. At 1:30 he proceeded to do the other women's nails, so I crossed my name off the sign in sheet and left. I will not be going back. Helen is RUDE!!!!! She doesn't know how to run a business and also lacks in personal skills!!!! I will miss Cindy, she is the Best. They are also over priced!!!! My daughter referred me to a much better nail salon. So much better than Illinois Nails!!!! They are nice, and better selection for polish, and the price is much better too!!!!

The gel was put on too thick & does not look natural. I wanted nails shortened , but not completely cut off. Also my whole nail was not completely painted. They rush & do poor quality work. Very disappointed!!!! I will look for a new place to go!!!

Helen did amazing on my nails!!! She took her time and effort to make them look pretty and shiny! Absolutely loved it! :)

The worst..... my no chip was super thick. My 4 year granddaughter can do better with polish. They look terrible! The technician didn't even moisturize my hands. She said your done". Definitely not a spa. On my way to another nail salon to have this no chip removed. It is the worst no chip I have ever gotten."
