Staff Plus

On November 2020 I walked into Staff Plus Ajax as a complete stranger and left feeling like family and also with a job starting in just 2 days of my visit. My first contract comes to an end this Friday, June 4th and I already have a new job starting the following week. Wanda personally worked with me by matching me with the job that best suits my skills. As soon as she knew my contract ended she immediately told me to update my resume and send it to her. I find Wanda to be very easy to talk to, non-judgmental and she has a positive attitude. I was very shocked to see the negative reviews posted. I had a great experience and would recommend Staff Plus Ajax.

Went for an interview with the company today. Applied for the coordinator position. I let the HR recruiter know my salary expectations and wanted to decline going forward with the interview as the job posting was too low. My fault for not realizing the job ad was below my expectations. The HR recruiter assured me that she felt what I was asking for was within reason and to still come for the interview. I decided to go to the interview. I show up on time. The owner who is going to interview me is late . It's a pretty decent interview. He asks me when I could meet with his team in the specific office they are hiring for. I ask specifically about the salary expectations. He proceeds to tell me that my experience as a staffing coordinator is not in the same field so I would start lower. He then proceeds to tell me that because I am currently working part-time he would be offering me full-time hours, so I would be technically getting more money. You would just have to work for your money". Then proceeds to tell me how I have been working part-time and people will not be willing to look at me for a full-time position because of this. Then explains how when retired people start working again and cannot keep up with the full-time schedule

Staff Plus is a freaking great agency to work for at the Ajax branch. The ladies that work there are very helpful, understanding, and super positive. Signing up was easy and I started work right away. I have never had an issue with the work and it is very steady. If you show up on time and work well at your assignments there will never be a problem for you. The majority of people I've worked with are great and I have never been in an altercation with anyone, but I am pretty easy-going; so, in other words, don't be a hothead or too much of a slacker and you'll be fine. The pay is good and if a placement is not working out just call the branch and you can work at another location quickly. 2 thumbs up, wayyyyy better than other agencies I've been to.

I have been working for Staff Plus for 2 years in Ajax, Wanda has the greatest respect and is very understanding and work very hard to find jobs that suit your needs and if your not happen with one, she does not judge but does her best to accommodate you. I have always had work and will continue working for Staff Plus, Thank you for all you do.

Very dynamic and and friendly people here. They are available and ready to welcome, listen, and oriented anyone who requests for their services. You walkin there jobless and come out wit a Job that suits your availability. I have been working with Staff plus Ajax for about 2 years now and I would recommend them to anyone especially for those who are new in the country.
