Great school, the older kids are upbeat and are welcoming to every student. There are so many unique students and there is a great amount of diversity. The teachers are supportive and kind, yet still keep us alert. The school is cleaned at least once a week and is only slightly dirty (it looks really good for a public school). The school cafeteria has only a couple food options but most of the food is good (especially the charger burgers). I was in grade 9 this year and it was one of the happiest years of my life. If you're looking for a school with mediocre sports, good dance program (whole school)(only beginning of year), decent food, amazing teachers, great classes and welcoming students and staff... this is the school for you!

its pretty meh!! Phone policy is so strict, stricter than my old school, cant even have my phone during lunchtime.

Teachers are nice, but their school policies are horrendous.

I went to this school for my grade 5-9 years. I have been graduated from grade 12 since 2013.I loved it. The staff were friendly, bully control was on point, and the teachers were supportive and creative.However, I didn't agree with the addition of the school's portables to bring in grade 3 and grade 4 students. This clogged the hallways more than they already were.Also, when Mr and Ms. Wiebe took over, they kind of drove the school into the ground for a bit there, but it seemed to recover.I haven't been there in a few years, but I would definitely love to take a tour of it again and send my son there when he's older. Hopefully, they haven't fully demolished the cooking class, shop class, and band class.

Personal preference, Valley Creek School is straight up phenomenal at teaching the necessary and above of grade 4-9 curriculum's. It may be true that students are quoting it's not their favorite school". But its great at ensuring the safety and security of students mental health/physical conditions. Attending here is an amazing experience if your willing to put in the effort."

“ this school is absolutely horrible my friend mark used to go there and get bullied and when he talked about getting bullied, this school didn’t do anything about it. In fact, they pretended that nothing happened. Also, there’s a lot of fights and dangerous people also people vape in the bathrooms. And also this school is always dirty. The teachers barely teach us anything and also my friend Mark who used to go there said that people pulled out knives at people also Mr. Anderson, a teacher that works at VCS. threatens kids and also makes them speak French in class. If not, he would spank them and swear at them. Nobody talks about it because they’re afraid of this teacher also in the hallways this teacher goes around and says GYATT when he sees a teenage girl, which is so messed up.”

As someone who has attended this school, I feel compelled to provide an honest and balanced review of my experience. While there are commendable aspects, such as the exceptional teachers, it is important to acknowledge the challenges posed by the student dynamics that have affected the overall atmosphere. This review is intended to highlight both the positive and negative aspects of the school and provide insight into my two-star rating.A notable aspect of this school is the dedication and expertise of the teaching staff. The teachers consistently demonstrate a high level of dedication, professionalism, and expertise in their respective fields. They use a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote active learning. Their accessibility and willingness to assist students is commendable and creates a supportive academic environment.It is important to note, however, that exceptional teaching alone cannot fully compensate for the challenges of the school environment.The campus is littered with garbage. I would not send my child to this school if I saw this.In conclusion, my two-star review reflects a mixed experience at this school. The dedication and skill of the faculty is commendable and creates a positive academic environment. However, the challenges posed by certain student dynamics that create an unwelcoming atmosphere for some cannot be overlooked. It is my hope that the school administration and stakeholders will take proactive measures to address these issues and create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all students. With improvements in student dynamics, this school has the potential to provide a more enriching and enjoyable educational experience.

I wasted 6 years of my life at this school and I have learnt a lot while here. The teachers are dedicated to their jobs even though the students aren’t the best. This school has inclusive staff here for everything I would say that the school is going to be a different place seeing as half the teachers are leaving this year. One thing I can definitely say is that it is extremely dirty if you are a guy like me the bathrooms are a very scary place to be. Something weird that always happened while there is that every time I heard the janitor speak a word I would never see them again. My in going theory is that they are keeping them locked in a basement and feeding them the old cafeteria food. Overall a decent experience.

Pretty good school, except some teachers waste a lot of time. But on the other hand, there are a few very good teachers! Gym class is great, but some fitness tests are useless, (literally, some didn’t even count for mark). There is lots of trash, on and around campus. Many assemblys, although some are very long, and are usually during the best part of the day (P.E & Options).The gym teachers make this school fun, while the good teachers make it bearable to learn everyday.TL:DR: It’s a pretty good school, just hope that you don’t have bad teachers, and watch out for trash.
