This place has nothing to do with any technical clothing repair. Brought a few items for a simple repair and was told that it is too difficult to fix, there is no matching materials and the price was above the sky for a simple patch. Brought my items to a different place and got more than I originally wanted for the price that I was happy with.

The owner has to be the stupidest person on the planet earth, make sure you check out how they charge you, this guy likes to scam would not recommend

I have a 20+ year old fly fishing chest pak which the main zipper had blown. I thought about just buyng a new one. However, I had purchased fly boxes, tools etc. that fit inside of it perfectly. Finding a new one with the same size/fit, was going to be a hassle at least, or impossible. A friend reccommended trying Gear re-Store. So, I checked them out and they said they could fix it. They washed and retreated it and fixed the broken zipper. You basically can't tell it was ever broken and replaced. I'm super happy! Thanks to Jen and the good peeps at Gear re-Store. If you need a repair/refurbish check them out before tossing it for new. I'm impressed that they could save this thing and it looks 20 years younger. I highly reccommend them based on my first hand experience.
