The Music Studio

We moved our daughter to The Music Studio for piano and vocal lessons in March. Ed was very accommodating in finding teachers who could work with our availability even though it was part way through the winter/spring session. Despite most of her lessons being online due to the pandemic lockdown, she has progressed leaps and bounds in both vocal and piano. Her teachers, Ali and Olenka, have made lessons fun and inspiring and we’ve watched our daughter’s enthusiasm for music grow over these past months. We no longer need to remind her to practice; she wants to practice and does so multiple times a day. Our daughter also loves participating in the monthly (online for now) concerts. We highly recommend The Music Studio.

My daughter has attended this studio for approx. 6 years. She started with the young children's music program and has since moved on to piano and vocal lessons. Ed oversees and manages the studio professionally and attentively. Every instructors we have encountered is talented, passionate and patient with students. The various opportunities to perform are a real benefit to a child's development and confidence. We are very happy with this local gem.

I have been a student at the Music Studio for about 2 years. I started with guitar lessons and now I'm taking piano. The teachers are very professional and extremely supportive and they would always find pieces/exercises appropriate to my level and my interests. They are also very accommodating in terms of scheduling lessons and have found effective ways to continue supporting students during the pandemic (with zoom lessons and shared resources via email). I highly recommend the music studio either if you are looking to learn to play an instrument for fun or if you want to further develop your theoretical/technical music skills.

We really have enjoyed our experience with The Music Studio. My son started piano lessons during the pandemic. The lessons were completed virtually with the option to come to the studio once safe to do so. We are able to pay as we go & we get an email summary of every lesson. A shout out to Ed for his patience & positive encouragement!

My children have been taking piano lessons at the Music Studio for more than 4 years and we are happy. The owner Ed is very attentive and accommodating, he is also a patient teacher with my active boy since he was 6. My daughter enjoys her music class since she was 5 and is now in piano classes with Bogdana and Greg. They both like the annual recital at the Assembly Hall as well as the monthly ones at Java Joe. I'd recommend to anyone that are interested in taking music lessons and understand they offer a wide range classes.

The Music Studio’s teachers, lessons and various programs are fantastic! They keep all of our children - 3 kids ranging from elementary to high school - engaged in Music education. They all enjoy and look forward to their lessons. The Music Studio’s approach to teaching music comes first from enjoyment and then if you child wants to become serious that is supported as well. Whatever your child’s goals are they are well supported at the Music Studio. Also, due to the pandemic they quickly changed to online instruction without a negative impact on learning. Music Studio lessons is an activity that continued to be maintained when so many others were cancelled. Many thanks to Ed and team!!!

Our children have been attending classes at the Music Studio for about four years now - our son is taking piano lessons with Ed and our daughter is taking piano and vocal lessons with Brenna. The instructors are passionate, very knowledgeable, extremely patient and work very hard to bring out the best from their students.The children are always looking forward to attending the lessons. Not only have they improved their musical acumen in leaps and bounds but they have developed confidence in performing in front of live audiences thanks to the many programs/recitals, community concerts that the Music Studio organizes on regular basis.We would recommend the Music Studio to anyone.

My son and I have been taking private vocal, drums and ensemble classes at the Music Studio for the past 7 years.I had tried many different music schools and am a music teacher myself, so I feel that I am very particular about where we study music.The Music Studio is by far the best music school in Etobicoke and probably anywhere. The teachers are very well-qualified and of high caliber.The owner, Ed, goes out of his way to provide many performance opportunities for the students as well as a warm, welcoming atmosphere at the studio.He is also very actively involved in the local community which is very nice to see and be a part of.The whole musical experience here has been very positive and therapeutic for us and we couldn’t imagine going anywhere else...

My daughter has been taking vocal lessons with The Music Studio since September, 2021. In a relatively short time, I've seen her confidence grow and her natural talent really start to take shape. She looks forward to her weekly lessons with Shelby and learns about technique and theory while just having a great time singing. The monthly concerts, while remote at this time, have been a great way to inspire and motivate and give everyone something to continually work towards. I highly recommend The Music Studio!
