Leslie Street Daycare

Had the opportunity to take my daughter to Leslie street daycare and it has been such a joy to see her grow and come out of her shell. The teachers are amazing, every single one of them. And you can really tell they have a great relationship with Tammy. The energy there is so positive and it reflects on everyone from the teacher to the kids and parents. Thank you so much for caring for my girl ♥️

Leslie Street Daycare has been such an amazing find and experience for our family. My son has flourished and excelled in their care. The teachers are hardworking, attentive, caring and happy. They do such a fantastic job at making your child feel loved and comfortable in their home away from home. If you are lucky enough to get a spot, TAKE IT! You wont regret your decision. Thank you Tammy and all the staff for making Hudson’s daycare time so memorable as he now goes off to JK.

So happy I found this daycare! The staff are amazing and genuinely care about the kids. They're always doing fun stuff so my daughter looks forward to going. They also serve delicious and healthy lunches and snacks. My daughter has progressed so much since she started! Would definitely recommend this daycare to anyone looking for one!

I am constantly amazed at how above and beyond the teachers at Leslie Street Daycare go in order to make our two toddlers feel safe, loved, and happy at school.Both kids are delighted to get to school each morning, and the constant feedback we get throughout the day via the school's app is just awesome. Photos of outdoor play and crafts, videos of classroom dance parties and circle time, and even updates on our youngest's eating habits - it is so reassuring to get these updates! The encouragement and support of our oldest's teachers has also had a huge impact on her speech development, as well as learning how to recognize/regulate her emotions.It can be tough to send your children to daycare (especially during a pandemic!), but I can say that I fully trust Leslie Street Daycare and am confident in recommending them to family and friends.Thank you Tammy and teachers for all that you do!

Our daughter went to Leslie Daycare for a year in preparation for Junior Kindergarten. We had a very good experience and would definitely recommend this daycare to our friends and family. You can tell that the teachers really care about the kids and go out of their way to get to know them. Our daughter was particularly shy and she was really able to grow over the year with the help and support of the staff. After a year at Leslie Daycare she is much more confident and ready for big school.

Leslie Street Daycare is the most wonderful, supportive, loving, and encouraging centre for a child. My son was just over 18 months old when he started at the centre and is now 4, getting ready to move on into kindergarten. The transition into the centre was amazing. I felt so comfortable leaving my son there for his very first full day at the centre.Nearly every single day, my son is so excited to go to daycare to see his friends. All the teachers take the time to say hi every morning and welcome him into his classroom. They always have such fun activities for the kiddos to do and are so interactive when they have playtime.The only thing that makes me sad is that my son has to leave to start kindergarten at school.I can't say enough positive things about Leslie Street Daycare!! Love them :)

I’ve been taking my child here for the past year and a half, and I have nothing but positive things to say. They are safe, the staff/ECE’s are friendly and genuinely care for my child’s development and I have seen my child blossom under their care. I was worried about my child’s development after being on lockdown for a year and a half but it’s now an afterthought. Thank you Tammy and team, would definitely recommend!

Our family has had the pleasure of being part of Leslie Street Daycare for the past 6 years, sending 3 of our children to this centre. Tammy and her staff are amazing and so professional. They have always created such a caring and nurturing environment for the children to learn and flourish.This is especially true during the pandemic. Tammy and staff have gone above and beyond, implementing procedures that have kept the children safe. We fully trusted sending our 3rd child to the centre this past year.The centre is always clean and well organized. The children are provided with healthy meals by a wonderful in house cook. The best part are the updates we receive through the school app. We love seeing the photos and videos of our child throughout the day. Tammy (the owner) does an amazing job of keeping parents updated and informed. She is wonderful and always available to answer our questions.We would wholeheartedly recommend the Leslie Street Daycare to anyone and will be sending our 4th child there.

My daughter attended Leslie Street Day Care since the spring of 2018 and my son is signed up to attend in early 2021. We absolutely love the Centre and are so so happy with the care and level of attention she received. We are amazed at how much our daughter has learned and progressed! Tammy and the teachers are fantastic. They go above and beyond to make sure the children have a caring and nurturing environment to grow and learn. They use a fabulous app which sends you updates and pictures of your child during the day. We felt safe sending our daughter back to daycare when the Centre re-opened as Tammy and the staff did a great job adapting to the pandemic with a lot of procedures to keep the kids and staff safe. I highly recommend Leslie Street Daycare!

Both my kids went to Leslie Street Daycare and they both loved the staff there, especially Tammy, Rita and Teala.Some of things I loved about Leslie Street:- they have always been organized and clean- Tammy was reliable and willing to accommodate any requests I had- they followed all COVID protocols- they plan fun activities for the kids, last fall they turned the playground into a pumpkin patch.Overall, it’s a small and cozy daycare with lots of caring staff.
