Dave's Hot Chicken
Dave’s hot chicken is more of a 3.5/5 rather than the 4 star I’m giving. I rounded up because the customer service was some of the friendliest I’ve encountered.I opted for the chicken tender + slider and cheese fries. The total with tax was 21+ which I find expensive for what I got.The slider is just a tender placed between two buns. The slaw is very average, and the sauce on the chicken is alright. There are plenty of better chicken sandwiches in the area.The chicken tender and the fries were salty and had me drinking a lot of water afterwards.Dave’s hot chicken is over hyped if you ask me

Delicious food, quick service, very large seating area. My slider was amazing, love how we can choose the level of “hotness”. I’m a bit of a mild type of guy. But love the size of the chicken pieces in my slider.

Really great chicken and fries! There’s just a couple things on the menu to choose from which is actually really nice for a change. The sliders are basically full sized chicken sandwiches and the fries are crinkly, crunchy, and you get a really nice portion. Lots of seating in the place and it didn’t take very long to prepare.Went for medium which was very medium. Would like to go back and try the other hot sauces!

I recently went to Dave's Hot Chicken and had a fantastic experience! We were greeted by Mali, who was super friendly and funny. He made us feel so welcome and really set the tone for the rest of our visit.The food was amazing! I especially loved the chicken and fries, which were of great quality. I had the slider with fries, and let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! The flavours were on point and the portion size was perfect. I appreciate how the restaurant specializes in select items and then perfects them, which really shows in the taste of the food. Plus the chicken is Halal!The location was also great, and the layout and design of the restaurant were awesome. The manager and other staff were also very welcoming and made us feel comfortable.Overall, I had a wonderful time at, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere. I can't wait to go back!

AMAZING find! The inside atmosphere is so chill with lots of cool art on the walls and comfortable seating areas. The food was delicious and flavorful especially the fries and the chicken tenders were HUGE! Thanks to Mali for being very friendly and making this a great trip to Toronto. We will absolutely be back here whenever in Toronto easily one of my favorite places I've eaten in the city!

Dave's Hot Chicken
I recently tried out Dave's Hot Chicken in Toronto and overall, I enjoyed my experience. The tenders were tasty, and the sliders were delicious. I tried out three different spice levels - Medium, Hot, and Reaper - and they all had completely different levels of heat. Medium was probably for most and hot was already pretty spicy. When I tried the Reaper, I quickly realized that only the most daring would be able to handle the whole thing.The tenders were served with white wonder bread and fries, and while they didn't try to be crunchy like Popeyes, they were still enjoyable. The fries were surprisingly good crinkle-cut fries.The sliders were a simple but tasty combination of a brioche bun, a tender in the middle, and cheese and pickles on top.One thing to note is that Dave's Hot Chicken is halal, but it can be pretty expensive. Despite the cost, I still recommend giving it a try if you're looking for something different and spicy.

Without a doubt this is a best fried chicken sandwich and fries I tried. The service was top notch and the lady at the cashier Uzma provided excellent customer service, she was kind and helpfull, it is 100% halal! Restaurant was clean and the ambience was great.I'll definitely be returning.

Dave's Hot Chicken
I get why this place was hyped when it first opened. I got the slider with fries and added cheese. The chicken was meaty and juicy, the side sliced pickles were a nice touch, but the star was the fries - crisp, not oily, just the right level of salty-tasty. It was also reasonably priced for the portion size.I've not been to other locations but this one had two floors, was very spacious and well lit. Great for groups or dining alone. Oh, and the bathroom was immaculately clean.Overall a great quick-bite place, and definitely a level up on the typical fast food joints.
