Towne Centre Medical Clinic (NOT A WALK IN CLINIC)

My son went to this clinic this morning as it is listed online as a walk in clinic. He has injured his arm at work and couldn't get in with our GP in kelowna until next week. Was rudely told by the lady that opened the door that they are not a walk in anymore and to check online for the actual walk ins in the area. What a joke. This used to be our go to clinic in a punch. Now we will wait it out to see our family doctor. If they are no longer a walk in clinic then they should be removing them from the list of walk in clinics

We absolutely love this clinic. My entire family sees Dr. Chien and we couldn’t be happier. He goes the extra mile to give us piece of mind and make sure we’re okay. The entire team at this clinic is incredible. Thank you for all that you do!!

Best medical clinic in West Kelowna. The doctors are professional and knowledgeable and the support staff is helpful and accommodating whenever possible.

I have taken my mother who is close to 90 to this clinic many times. Dr Fourie has been so professional and polite to my mother. So I look at many of these reviews of people complaining of staff and it not being a walk-in anymore. I do understand some of their complaints but others must understand that our medical system is under siege! of not having enough doctors in this part of BC. So patience is a virtue, when it comes to making a doctor appointment. anywhere not just at this clinic. So I give doctor Fourie five stars for the way she treats my mother and her staff.

The reception was the rudest I've ever experienced...she needs to go to anger management or get some retraining on how to be good to people especially those who are sick...very bad experience...doctors are good

Dr. Reid probably saved my life. She has been my number 1 advocate since day 1. She never gave up on me. Even to this day, on my journey, she has been by my side working with me to save my health and my life. I gave up on myself a long time ago, but she hasn't. I am really really lucky to have found such a compassionate, knowledgeable, understanding physician who truly cares. I am so appreciative and grateful for her and her wonderful staff at Towne Centre Medical. I went from being on my death bed to having a second chance at life. There is still a long road ahead of me but with a team like this, I am confident that I will be successful. Thank you Dr. Reid.

I have been going to this clinic since 2010 and I have found the front desk to be great at estimating wait times if you are a walk-in. I rarely walk in as I am a patient of a physician there. I have watched people become irritated with the front staff. They obviously don't understand that in order to get exceptionally good medical staff to treat you/and care for you, the wait time can sometimes be longer. It is an easily accessible location, furthermore with a client base in the Okanagan of 70% Seniors, wait times should be expected. I am thrilled to have Dr. J. Daly as my GP as she is caring, knowledgeable, and treats you as a individual. She never presents as omnipotent and God like as some physicians I have seen in the past in the 3 Cities I have resided. She is interested in assisting you physically, emotionally and mentally and is genuine in helping you find solutions. She will refer you as needed and physicians like this take time with their patients. If you want a 15 min" walk in Doctor

I really lucked out with becoming a patient of the wonderful Dr Reid! For well over 6 years I had ongoing issues with abdominal pain resulting in numerous trips to the ER and many visits with walk-in doctors - all of which were inconclusive. I truly felt like none of the medical professionals I had seen ever took me seriously. When I finally met Dr Reid a little over a year ago, I could immediately tell she was an exceptional human who really cares about her profession, people and their health. She listened to my concerns, ran some tests and then gave me a referral to a specialist which I have been seeing now. Last summer, I caught mono and when I tried to cancel my registration for a half marathon, I required a doctors note (my work didn't even ask for one...) Although Dr Reid was not in the office that day, the clinic had sent her an email to which she responded relatively quickly to provide me with that note so I could get my $80-$100 refund! She truly is a gem! I have also had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Chen and Dr Spiess (the spellings might not be right) on separate occasions and the level of care & attention both of them gave me despite me not being their patients was really great. I cannot speak higher of this clinic and their phenomenal doctors! Although I no longer live in West Kelowna, I will remain a patient of Dr Reid as long as I possibly can!
