We went today. Easy to access the reservation system for entry. At the Raptor Centre, we chatted with one of the caretakers who was feeding a female bald eagle. She shared amazing information about the birds and it’s so clear how well cared for these rescued and rehabilitated animals are. Her willingness to speak with us made today’s visit even more special. We walked on a few of the shorter trails and will come back for longer hikes again. Thank you again, and thanks to the conservation efforts of this organization! It was a wonderful way to spend some time on Canada Day.

Went here in Jan 2023 for the winterlit festival. Excellent agreement of lights, music, fireplaces and hot chocolates. To add to the awesomeness, go earlier before sundown to get a glimpse up close of the raptops, specially the different owls at the raptor centre.Great for kids during any season and has all facilities.

Visited MapleTown with my partner on a Saturday afternoon at 3 pm. It was a great time! Not too crowded. We got pancakes with maple syrup which were overpriced imo. I liked that they had various demos to watch. We watched the outdoor demo first where the staff talked about where maple syrup originated and how the indigenous were the first to discover it. Then we watched the indoor demo about how maple syrup is harvest and refined. Then we watched the last demo where the staff was making soft maple candle. It was my favourite because they gave free samples of maple syrup and the maple candy they were making. Delicious!!! All the staff were so friendly and happy. By 3 pm the bird facility was already closed, but the farm was still open. We skipped on that because the smell was really bad. Before we left we bought maple on a stick and a few maple goodies from the store. We spent around 1.5 hours there.

Loved the Winterlit Event we attended tonight!! The staff were also super friendly and helpful. Our kids (4 and 1 both loved it). The trails were beautiful and super magical especially when there’s snow! Would highly recommend it!

Lots to do and plenty to show the kids between the Raptors, the swamps (nets provided to catch insects) and the farm animals. Chickens are back after winter and avian flu.

We visited for the maple syrup festival and had a good time, though lots of things cost extra (food, taffy, wagon ride, etc). Maple town was quaint and we took advantage of the free activities including seeing the birds at the Raptor centre and the animals at the barn.

We got here on a Maple Syrup festival. It was fun time for kinds and seniors. We saw how they are making the maple syrup now and how that was done before. There are nice trails in the park. It was several stores to get maple syrup products and tested the pancakes with it.We did not purchase the tickets upfront, that could saved us couple buck per person. It was cool to visit a little zoo/farm, it was very well maintained.Nice place, will visit it again once it is warmed.

Winterlit was beyond beautiful. Something you have to experience to truly appreciate the beauty that they made it to be. From the music, the lights, to the customer service - 100 percent top notch. Highly recommend to anyone. It was even more gorgeous with the snow.

A great place to come with your kids. Like to come here in every season. Maple town was fun as well. They have animals, playground, huge picnic area. Also they have nice and big washrooms as well as a gift shop with lots of maple products.

Visited Mountsberg for Maple Town last weekend from Toronto, and I was very impressed by the conservation area - it was so well organized, with great staff, and will keep you entertained for quite a few hours! The Maple Town is only a couple hundred metres from the parking lot. They have a delicious pancake breakfast (the pancakes were huge!), demonstrations of the historical development of maple syrup making with a staff member providing explanations, a very entertaining talk/demonstration in the sugar shack, wagon rides, and more. All the staff members who we met (including the guy manning the gate) were friendly, welcoming and cheerful. They're amazing. Would recommend at least two hours just for Maple Town for a leisurely breakfast, stroll and listening to the talks. The park itself also has extensive trails, including a short wildlife loop, where there was supposed to be bison, although we didn't see any (maybe because of the season). We also did the raptor experience for an extra $10 per person, which I'll cover in a separate review, but it was so well worth it! Definitely makes me want to come back during the summer and try their other experiences.
