The worst experience I’ve had so far. Asked an associate there if it was possible to try any headphones on, she was rude for no reason and said „no one will buy them after you“. I was shocked and said that I meant maybe they had any opened ones you can try and she gave me so much attitude and said „no,absolutely no“. It wasn’t that important for me to try them, If she would say it nicely i would most probably still buy them, but after a conversation like this I left immediately.

July 2023 - I had a very very negative overall experience with this Canada Computers at 279 Laurier Avenue. I took my computer in for a hardware replacement/fix, I left my computer with them for a week for an estimate on costs, I had to end up calling them back to inquire if they’d finished. They quoted me several hundred dollars which I would’ve been willing to pay, despite now having found a place on Rideau that will do it for less that half their quote. They told me they’d have to order the part I needed from head office, which was fine by me but they told me it may take around 4 weeks because they can only communicate to head office through an archaic indirect email ticket submission. So I waited being told I would be contacted when that part arrived, I never was, I contacted them after 4 weeks, told it wasn’t here yet, called again at 6 weeks and they told me “oh yeah I guess come in”. I come in and leave my laptop with them for an inspection before labor/replacement. When I walk in 10 business days later because I haven’t heard from them again, even though I’ve been told my laptop is the front of the service queue, and what they will work on first thing in the morning, when I walk in my laptop is laying on the dirty tile floor behind the counter. I ask is that mine? I’m told “uh yeah”. When it’s picked up and handed to me on the counter, it’s in WORSE condition than I gave it to them. A screw falls out in front of me and the technician. I’m furious, but I explain I’m upset because I hate being a difficult customer. I leave with my laptop to think about this and get a call with an apology and they asked me to bring it back. I do (my mistake). Leave it for a couple more days and finally they call and say the part they ordered is broken! They have to order another one! I say I’m coming in to get my laptop for now. I pick it up. They email me three months later saying the second part has arrived, please come in, and 280 for the labour and part. I reply that I am very unhappy with the level of service I’ve been given and have not felt like a priority, I will do business with you if you do it at half price for my trouble over five months with your company. They never answer.Garbage service and a headache over around six months for me. Visit here at your own risk.

Terrible customer service. brought my computer for a diagnosis where they said 1-2 weeks. 3 weeks later after calling multiple times without them picking up (you could phone 10 times a day and they will never pick up) I went there in person to be told my computer was still 6th in line because they only have 1 tech. Meanwhile it's just a bunch of teenagers working there chatting doing no work, and definitely not picking up the phone. Needless to say, I took my PC somewhere else.

A rather small store with a couple of different laptops/computers on display.The accessory section ist quite good, especially if you are looking for cables and adapters.You have to lock your bag in a locker, understandable but still a little bit annoying. A regular sized bag barely fits in the locker unless you are willing to bow down to the lower lockers, they are a bigger but inconvenient to reach.Employees are very kind, but also very skilled. Need a specific cable you don't know the name of? Talk to them and they'll have the answer.My reason for 4/5 star rating: every time I went there, a lot of items were not in stock and the shelfs literally were looking empty. I understand that it might happens once that an item is sold out, but multiple items on multiple occasions is weird.So make sure to check the stock online first before going there!Pricewise: okay'ish. Some stuff is a bit cheaper, other a bit more expensive than elsewhere in the city.
