Great paths that can give a short walk or a long one. The main path is paved and the side ones are gravel/dirt, unmaintained. There are very few hills and the ground is mostly level so it is a good easy walk.

Always like this trail but its getting too busy and wish people stopped having fires there. Will be getting my kids ready for fanshawe trail hopefully by end of summer.

First time doing the full loop and loved it. The only part that was very confusing was coming out on Highbury and there is no indicator as to how you get back on the trail. Finally found a gate on a townhouse property and it led us back to the trail. Still no signage. Biggest disappointment is the garbage that people leave behind especially along the river.

This trail is beautiful! Lovely place to walk, enjoy nature, go bird watching and lots of wild flowers.

It was such a peaceful and calming walk. I really enjoyed how the river ran along the trail. I cant wait to bring my dog here, shes's going to love it! I would recommend this trail for anyone. It's short and a clear paved path.

Such a peaceful place to walk in nature. So happy that this beautiful place is preserved for everyone to enjoy and for plants and birds and other animals and insects to thrive. Too many natural spaces are being lost to development.

I was surprised to find such a trail in the middle of the city. It was well marked, and maintained. I have 3 stars because I don't see myself going back to the trail, as I would choose one that is a little more secluded from the world since I am from out of town anyways. I am glad to have gone once and if you are living in the city, and want a little escape it is quite nice. Had fun pointing out different birds we saw on the trail. The trail is not fully accessible although sections of it are. Would be nice for families as long as you are not sill in the stroller phase.

Not many people come to this trail. People can bike on the paved trail, and there are many paths that are for hiking only along the paved trail. Some paths will lead you to the riverside which my dog absolutely loves!
