Ive been going to LOTW for 8 years now. First trip we stopped at Steves, and have stopped every year since. I don't know how anyone could have possibly given him a one star review. Im guessing it was a Karen! She had to wait a couple minutes, really? Steve has never been anything but helpful no matter if we arrive at 2 AM or 11 AM. Great service and a great shop, ALWAYS has had an excellent assortment of ice fishing lures to choose from. Must stop there if you are going fishing and help support the local economy, especially during these tough times. Thanks Steve!

Steve's Lucky Bait
Steve's is the first place (occasionally the only place) we stop each time we head to the river or LOTW. He is always there and always open!! We've arrived at from midnight to 3am a few times and he has been AWESOME!! Large selection of bait and HUGE selection of jigs. He always has good info and current reports! 6 of 5 stars!

Walked in there at 2 am in a blizzard last wk with a flat tire on a trailer, we left on the side of the road 45 miles from baudette. This guy takes a tire off of his personal boat trailer to loan us, to get us on the lake fishing. No questions asked! I don't think I've known nicer people! They always know what the hottest tackle is and where to get on fish too!

Loaded up with bait a couple times during our trip here. Nice and helpful staff….super cute pup was an added bonus! Close to our resort and boat launch we were using.

Love Steve's lucky bait awesome bait store. They saved us last weekend we were in a pinch we needed a boat anchor. They had a bunch in stock awesome store if you forget anything or need anything up there. They have Frozen bait they got Crawlers all kinds of jigs lures. And there crawlers are really nice big fat ones. Definitely recommend this place to anybody going up there.

Steve's is our first stop when rolling into Baudette. Staff is very friendly and helpful and just real people. We appreciate the whole family that we have met.
