Chicken pouting and smoked meat club were delicious. Coleslaw was one of the best I've ever eaten.

A classic retro vibe styled restaurant where you can eat like the 50's. The brunch are pretty good.

We arrived for lunch around 2pm. Waitress was very friendly, even though we didn't speak French. Menu did reflect diner food. Burgers, fries, sandwiches. Very generous portions. Enough to feed 2! Food is decent. I would recommend the onion soup. Service a little slow but maybe because we had late lunch.

Menu was not like the fotos here , food was good but not worth the 100$ it cost us for 2 people. Not going to go again . You can get way bether food for that kind of money in rimouski. We go 2 small Hamburger ( bund meat bund) nothing on it. Fries change to a poutine . I got 4 small peace of chicken with sauce fries change to a poutine and deep fried pickle and 2 pops.

Waiter wad arrogant and after serving the food never came back to check on us. My wife's food was cold. We couldn't get drink refills and had to forgo dessert due to time constraints. I had to get in line at the cash register in order to get my bill and then the same waiter had the audacity to to TELL me I had not left a tip. RUDE.

Nothing special about the food. Music does not fit the retro atmosphere. Waitress got us a hot chocolate instead of a chocolate milk and complained she'd have to throw it away. I'm sure it was just a package. My sweet n' sour sauce for my chicken fingers tasted like plum sauce. Not an authentic place. Wouldn't recommend it.

During our road trip from Montreal to Prance Edaward Ayland, we decided to try Retro 50 restaurant. Unfortunately, it turned out to be our worst food experience among all the restaurants we visited. We ordered a pizza and a trio burger as our main courses, but both dishes failed to meet even the most basic standards of taste and quality.Let's start with the pizza. To our dismay, it arrived at our table with a cold top layer. The cheese had solidified, which was quite off-putting. Surprisingly, the crust underneath was hot, creating an odd contrast. The inner crust was disappointingly soft and soggy, as if the toppings had made it wet. The overall texture and flavor of the pizza left much to be desired, and it did not meet our expectations.Moving on to the trio burger, we were met with further disappointment. The meat in the burger was of extremely poor quality. It tasted as if it were made from the cheapest ground meat available, with only a day left before expiration. The flavor was unpleasant, lacking any seasoning or distinctive taste. Regrettably, consuming the burger left us feeling unwell, and we even experienced headaches afterward. It felt as if the ingredients were poorly handled or possibly expired.Considering the disappointing quality of both the pizza and the burger, our experience at Retro 50 was far from satisfactory. The lackluster pizza, with its temperature inconsistencies and watery crust, along with the poorly flavored and seemingly questionable meat in the burger, left us regretting our choice of restaurant.Given our experience, it is difficult to recommend Retro 50 to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant's food quality, taste, and overall attention to hygiene were below par. I sincerely hope that the management takes immediate steps to address these issues and improve the dining experience for future customers

Very pleasantly surprised ! The food was great and the prices even better. Old school soup+dessert for under 20$ per person. Perfect spot for a lunch.

Seriously, best greasy spoon in Rimouski. We tried the all dress pizza, 50 retro poutine and 50 retro spaghetti. Love this place!!! I wish they had it in Montreal!!!We had the best waitress, her name is Naomi. She really made ours experience exceptional.
