Peter was very approachable, knowledgeable, friendly. He was happy to answer any questions and allowed me to view the washing machine repairs. He was able to quickly source the part we needed and within a few days completed the repairs. He also added an extra clamp to help secure the wire for the new while the machine is operating. It was a great blessing to have Peter and Express Appliance Repair help us and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs an appliance repaired for a fair price. HORRIBLE SERVICE RUN AWAY! Do not be fooled by this company. They will come to your house and pretend to fix your appliance while leaving you with something that doesn’t work, not honouring their refund or repair policy and then ignore you all together.I had expressed repair come to my house to assess and fix an oven that is only a couple years old. Upon their assessment, they told us that the motherboard (most expensive part) needed to be replaced. We ordered the part and had them replace it and within a couple days our digital screen (which we have never had an issue you before the took our entire oven apart) stopped working and we could no longer could use our oven. We called them back to fix the issue and they told us that we needed to replace the entire screen and associated parts. This was very disheartening as we were assured that the motherboard replacement would fix any issues with the oven. Not to mention they have a refund/ repair policy for if something does not work that they would not honour (clearly something was installed wrong or we were provided a faulty part). I then asked to speak with a manager to discuss our options and was told I would hear back the next day, and this did not happen. I then called them at least four separate times trying to get the manager Michelle on the phone but every time she just so happen to be in a meeting and they would give me another time to call back and when I would do that she would be out of office after leaving several messages and calling numerous times I was finally able to get Michelle on the phone. She then assured me that we would find a solution, and that she had to look into the file and get back to me which yet again she did not do. I’ve since reached out several more times sent emails and was never contacted. By this time, the 30 day period for a refund had passed and I felt like I was being scammed. I was very clear that I was willing to pay for what was done and was not even trying to get a full refund but get my oven fixed. I also told them that I did not want to take any further action such as writing a bad review or going to my credit card company to get the payment withdrawn which I have now had to do. The fact that they did not fix my appliance is one thing, then, to not be willing to speak with a paying customer is another, and then, to not care about a bad review, speaks volumes to this company’s intentions towards their customers. I hope no one else goes through this experience as when I dug online deeper through other sources (just check trust pilot) there are countless stories just like mine with this unethical company. I am currently out around $900 and have spent countless time trying to deal with this issue. Save yourself the hassle and find another company.Don’t be fooled by their response to this review either. As no one from management has reached out to I do not believe they even filed a complaint. Or maybe they did and they truly just don’t care either way run run run!

Go somewhere else. We gave this company several chances to redeem them selves. We had a washer break 22 days after it was fixed. There was a 30-day warranty, and we booked an appointment 3 times, and they finally came out 10 days later. Guess what... it wasn't covered under warranty anymore. Scammed....

My 10 yr old fridge stopped working so I called to request a service call & they came out within hrs. Bad news on fridge as it needed a new compressor so it just wasnt worth fixing.I was very happy with their service & honesty in telling me that due to the age, my old fridge wasnt worth the cost to repair.The rep that booked my call told me I could pay by cash, etransfer, or by credit card for which there would be 4% added to overall cost. When it came time to pay for the servicecall (which was reasonable) theirservice tech refused to accept a cash payment.I had to pay by etransfer which is not something I would normally do, but I will not pay a surcharge in order to use my credit card.As a business owner, I have never charged a customer a surcharge to use debit or credit cards. Its a cost of doing business that should be paid by the business & it shouldnt be passed off to the customer to cover.
