Alliance Française Calgary

Attended various courses and events at Alliance Francaise for over 20 years. The staff have been consistently great - they are helpful, patient, hard working and talented. The courses/events are engaging and well thought out. The resources are extensive. The other students are from all over the world (downtown centre) and so you really get a multi-cultural/global perspective. If you have any interest in furthering your knowledge of French language and culture -- this is the place to go! You will have a wonderful time.

Our teacher, Aymeric, was great. The complete beginners class was lots of fun and contributed to my understanding of french! Notre professor, Aymeric, est bien et le beginner classes sont amusant. Le classes etait tres bien.

The best place to learn or improve your French. It is a very welcoming environment and they offer many cultural events: for example music and cinema. They have the largest French Library in the province!

This is a fantastic place to learn French and to connect with other French learners. Th teachers are great and always provide a friendly and fun environment. Group courses, private lessons, social activities—even traveling with them to Bordeaux—I've done just about everything Alliance Française Calgary offers to take my French to the next level. I'm continually impressed by both the quality of instruction delivered and variety of programs organized. What you get from your French language journey will depend on what you put into it. AFC is there, every step of the way, with excellent teachers, a great facility, and learning opportunities that set you up for success.

We've been members for some years now and I am very pleased with their events and services. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My son has taken their French summer camp when he was 5 and he liked it. Their location and building is nice and they have safe protocols to manage the kids. We love attending their events as much as possible.

I live in Ontario, so only attend Zoom meetings.This site is good for formal grammar, reading and writing skills. I use another site to improve my listening and speaking skills

If it was possible to put more than 5 stars, I would add 7,9,10...100000 stars for this amazing place. If you want to enjoy a very positive learning experience, go to Alliance Française of Calgary. This place inspired me a lot: the building, the people, the courses... Teaching there was fun and inspiring.. I am leaving this place now after three years of a wonderful experience but I would definitely recommend it to all of you: francophones and Francophiles, you will never regret taking courses there. I saw people improving, moving from A1 to C1 in a short time...This is the best place to learn French in Calgary, in Alberta, in Western Canada...You won't waste your money at all !!******************************************************* and more to the Alliance Française of Calgary, my first home in Canada!!
