Well organized place to find household items. All tools and appliances are tested and cleaned. Couches and chairs are steam cleaned. Donations welcomed in the back. Profits go to building affordable homes. Good place to volunteer.

My husband and I have been donating and shopping at this re-store for several years. Today, we went in to look for a dresser and whatever else we might find. We were stopped at the door and told we could not come in as we were wearing shields and B.Henry does not approve. We were actually wearing clear Canadian made MASKS that were sold to us as Masks, not shields! We spoke with the Manager who would entertain no other view concerning our masks though an employee in the store was wearing a thin neck warmer for protection. She offered to shop for us….really, look ‘n buy Restore. Otherwise, we were told to leave! These people do not think for themselves and wanted us to conform to their narrow uninformed conformist parroting. They were wrong and told US the customers to leave! We left NEVER TO RETURN! Losers!

Three times now I have been in there looking for things, and they have been marked more expensive than you can buy new at a hardware store. And each time they would not budge on their price. Is that how humanity programs work?

This habitat for humanity location has been one of the better locations that I have been to. The store is always clean and the staff are always helpful. They have a really nice selection of second hand items. They also take your donations.

Great place with plenty variety of used items for sale. Staff is always friendly and I would rather support them with a purchase if they have what I am looking for.You have to keep dropping by the selection changes daily.

Over the top expensive store. Compared to Courtenay and Nanaimo Re Stores, this place is corrupt with their pricing. Even the one in Edmonton is run like it should be. People go check for yourself the next Time your down island. Don't shop local if you cant compete.

Staff is very nice..but Sadly they snubbed their nose at a solid wood bedframe that was well worth over a few hundred. So sad for someone in need could really have used it. Most of the stuff there is pretty much junk ...a few nice things that were sold of course...all prices are outrageous.

I really love this store. It sells all kinds of new and used construction supplies and different home improvement project materials. It makes small home improvements much more affordable and proceeds go to a very good cause. Their inventory is always changing as well so if they don't have something you need today they might have it tomorrow.
