Lukas made our dreams come true! We bought a house and hoped to have the floors refinished prior to moving in since they were yellowed with age and scratched up from the prior owners puppies. I dreamed of having white-washed Nordic floors and Lukas gave me a few options in the house in terms of colour and finish - we decided on one and the final effect is absolutely incredible. The quality of the work is impeccable, he went above and beyond in every way, and is super considerate.

We researched our options and secured Lukas and Karolina to refinish our red oak floors. The results are outstanding. We were incredibly pleased with both the quality of the work, the fair pricing and the consistent and timely communication before, during and after the work was completed. Every question was answered and the work was started and completed exactly as planned. We highly highly highly recommend Lukas the Hardwood Guy.

We purchased a home and had a tight timeline for getting the hardwoods refinished. The floors had yellow and orange tints and signs of a poor sanding job. Lukas assessed our floors and gave us full confidence that he would be the right person for the job and we were correct! He completed the job on time and the result is beautiful! Lukas even custom made flush mount vents and removed an old vent that was sitting in the middle of the kitchen. He seamlessly feathered in new boards so that no one would ever know there used to be a vent there. The colour is amazing - exactly what we were looking for! Lukas is confident, professional, efficient, responsive and an expert at what he does. Lukas the Hardwood Guy is definitely the right guy for any hardwood project!

Lukas did an amazing job on our 45 year old ash hardwood floors. They had gotten quite yellow and scratched, now they look brand new. Lukas worked around our vacation to complete the floors while we were out of town. The price was very fair and we love the results. I would definitely recommend Lukas The Hardwood Guy.

Lucas did a great job on our old living room floor. Most of the original stain was gone. We need floor sanded and restained to match wood floor in the next room. Very happy with the dustless system. Color match is great a very happy with the work.

Was recommended to Lukas by a friend who got lvp flooring installed by him. Cannot recommend him enough.. he turned our 70 year old original oak floors to new. He thinks outside of the box, will point out things that you might not notice and goes above and beyond. After dealing with some other contractors (that were shady) it was so refreshing to be able to just let him do what he does and not have to keep a eye on him. I appreciate: his attention to details, he uses high-end tools and products and charges a fair price for it.

I can’t stop staring at my floors. They are absolutely beautiful. We had prefinished floors on the main level and original hardwood on the upper floor. Everything look seamless and modern. Lukas worked so hard to get our floors refinished quickly and I couldn’t be happier. He absolutely deserves his 5 star rating.

We hired Lukas back in October 2020 to fix up our floor that had burnt spots from previous tenants cat urine, and some areas didn’t have hardwood at all. Words really cannot describe how great Lukas is. He is friendly, honest, trustworthy, informative, has competitive rates, is great at communicating, and provides wonderful advice and recommendations. It has been 8 months, and our floor still looks AMAZING!
