Been fishing 45 years, kid there got attitude when I tested a rod I wanted to buy, was ready to spend some $ but he wouldn't shut up, rip off place! GO elsewhere, Coopers Marina is best.

Good prices and good selection of everything fishing. If they don't have the fishing rod your looking for, you can have them order almost any one you want. Just ask.

Today was my first visit. It's smaller than I imagined but still had a very nice selection of fishing related items. The proprietor was nice and gave me a super deal on some ice fishing poles. The fishing reel selection is better than that at Canadian Tire. Good quality rods too!

Horrible service. Called from Essex to come buy 6 new rods, possible 3 new reels... younger guy said he was open til 8pm. I got there at 5:05pm... door on sign said be back in 20mins. We waited and called the place at 5:22pm. Man answered, said he is there and needs another 20min to eat his food. (There were 3 people at the door waiting for minnows). Went to Canadian tire, then back to Wally's at 5:55pm. Another sign on door said... be back in 5mins. Horrible service... man should be fired.

In all my years fishing, due to the fact of always living closer to other places, I have been here 2 times only. I wish i had gone sooner. They had everything I was looking for, and for a more than competitive price. The place is small, and simple. The brands of gear they carry are good like, Okuma and Phleuger, and some of their prices actually beat online companies, which was pretty impressive for such a small outfit. I will definitely make this place one of my very first options when its possible.

Don't come here if you are on a busy fishing morning! The attitude of the staff is horrible! We got a scoop of minno much less than the person ahead of us and there were a lot of dead ones. When I complained about it, the guy said he cant make them alive and larger! Then he said if I don't want them I can dump them back, then I said yes I dont want these dead fish, then he dump back and I ask him to rescoop, he just take my bucket and put it outside the store! What a jerk! Go to the other tackle store just 500m west you get more and alive minnos!
