I was shopping there some time ago, Christmas. I was purchasing gifts for my nephews. In a good mood after paying I said merry Christmas to the shop owner. She angrily responded Happy hanukkah. Maybe she is not Christian but she profits on Christmas shopping and seems pretty disrespectful to her clients.

Scooter Girl Toys is a wonderful neighbourhood toy store! They have the BEST selection of high quality toys and their customer service is unmatched. Every time I have been in there the staff has gone the extra mile to help me find what I am looking for. Thanks Scooter Girl Toys!

This past year really made me appreciate our local toy stores. The selection of toys and materials is really cool. They have so much stuff that ignites children’s imagination. My kids love looking at the window display any the stuff they pick for their future birthdays is surprising, I never would have guessed. The customer service is always kind and considerate, and they are champions at wrapping presents.

Beware if you buy toys its a final sale once they get your money a store credit is only issued. What kind of business doesn’t allow for refunds. I swear this toy store is becoming more and more stingy. All about supporting local. Not this place no more

This is my favourite toy store in Toronto! They have such a good selection of high quality toys. Their customer service is great and they have really gone the extra mile during lockdown . I recently ordered a doll and an outfit for the doll. They emailed to tell me the outfit wouldn't fit the doll I ordered, offered other suggestions and threw in a free outfit and some other goodies. I highly recommend this place!

Scooter girl has been a staple for our gift getting for what seems like forever. Our go to place for our own kids, and every other kid we buy presents for. There is something for literally everyone, from newborns to teens - and the service is truly exceptional. Feels like visiting family every time I go in.

Normally love this store! Great inventory and selection but today I used my daughers saved up allowance ( shes only 3) to purchase a blue balloon for almost 4 bucks just a basic helium balloon. It popped less than a block away. I called immediately while she was screaming on roncenvalles. They told me they could not help as helium costs. So I took my little one to get another early bird and worm.Very disappointed on how this was handled.

I have been shopping at this store for many years. The initial experience walking in with my Mom was fine, clean and organized. She found something small for my son labelled $5.99. But upon taking it to the cashier we were abruptly and rudely informed it had been mislabelled by a new employee and the price was actually $10.99.I mentioned that she should honour the $5.99 and there are laws in place to protect consumers from this type of thing. The woman, who I can only assume was the owner, told me I was wrong and refused to sell us the item at $5.99.In these times I would’ve thought it would be more important to make the sale and keep the customer happy, than lose the sale and lose two long time customers and risk a bad review.I understand mistakes happen, but for customer service sake you should’ve honoured the original price.I will never shop at this store again simply for the rude way she felt she needed to speak to us and lack of moral responsibility towards customers.Buyer beware!!!

We just had the absolute best curb side shopping experience at Scooter Girl buying Christmas gifts for 6 different children. We showed up and were helped immediately (wish I grabbed the lady’s name - she was amazing).We described the 6 children we were shopping for, ages, personality and interests, and this magical lady disappeared into the store and less than 5 minutes later she came out with the exact perfect gift options for the kids. We sincerely could not have made better choices ourselves had we had the opportunity to explore the store ourselves.The gift options were unique and, did I mention perfect?They also beautifully gift wrapped each one for us. This is 100% the toy store we will exclusively use going forward.Thank you ladies!!!!!
